15 Signs That The U.S. Economy Is In Far Worse Shape Than Most People Think

You don't have to be an expert to understand that economic conditions are deteriorating all over the country. We can see that things are going terribly wrong every time we go grocery shopping and prices are higher, or when we are going to fill in our tanks and fuel prices have gone up by 15% within a week. Our monthly bills are taking a larger share of our pay, but officials insist that inflation is subsiding and that Americans are consuming more than ever before. They may be under that impression because many corporations have been reporting record profits. But when it comes down to personal finances, most people are deeply struggling, and a large portion of our population is not happy about the direction our nation is heading. Over the past 30 days, we have received quite a bit of troubling news, and economists are warning that the outlook for the rest of 2024 is very bleak. In today's video, we're going to expose 15 signs that the U.S. economy is in far worse shape than anyone has thought. So get ready for another reality shock because the truth about our economic situation is more alarming than what we are being told.

    If big franchises like hooters are having a hard time in this economy. Imagine how us ghetto folk are doing.

  • @American-Motors-Corporation

    @American-Motors-Corporation

    Күн бұрын

    Well joints like Hooters have been having problems for the past 15 years they've become irrelevant. See this is the problem but argue about a third of the restaurant and dessert on down to your BW3s they've basically been stuck in a time that no longer exists first off there's the trends of the 90s and these restaurants and or bar and grill setups pretended that the 90s never ended so they still think that a big group of coworkers are going to come in there after work and do the happy hour type of thing and they might buy a steak in the bar and grill set up they're going to come in for frozen wings that you could go to Walmart and buy. But then of course you have the pure economics of the day. And frankly the cost of living has went up to the point where even if you are one of those trendy young people on The office job near first 40 Grand in a year your cost living is high to the point where you and your coworkers cannot afford to hang out at Applebee's after work. Wow at the same time technically that trend died 18 years ago. So it fell out of fashion but it won't come back into fashion simply because it's too high and then of course you have a problem with consumption of alcohol just anyway and that is simply transportation how do you get home without risking a driver's license? The traditional cab service disappeared Uber is what's there but the problem with Uber is it's going to cost you $40 to have them pick you up from your house or work and take you to the bar and then to turn around and pick you up from the bar and take you back home. Then you also have the situation that starts out then they will send us alcohol that their genetics drinking isn't really the thing anymore compared to what it used to be yeah people still throw down and have a party and maybe for a birthday or something though but for the most part millennials and gen Z people do not drink like gen xers and Boomers did the alcohol industry particularly the beer industry has been bitching about it for nearly a decade. But then of course you also have the cost of those beverages in a bar paying some asshole $4 for a shitty beer especially because a lot of them are advertising and they make it sound like it's a good deal that you're going to get a big can of bush light for $3.50 yeah stuff it up your ass I'm not drinking that garbage. I mean years ago when the bar scene was still popular in town if you were going to pay anywhere near $3 for a beer it was going to be something deemed to be a specialty beer and we're talking 18 years ago so that might have been like a Killian's Irish Red but nowadays I would not pay you that price for Killian's Irish red when I can buy an entire 12 pack for under $13. In other words it's not really a specialty beer these days.

    Well basically it's been on the rise everywhere I mean I live in central Ohio and I can tell you there's oodles of them here and my town is 33 miles north east of Columbus so there are some shuttle between Columbus and my town and then of course there's towns that are further out to the East and or Southeast that have a population of them as well I would say for my town if I took it over the course 5 years I would say that it's up 200% because that problem was growing way before crazy Joe way before 2020. Of course you have this idiots you have tried to break it down into some red State versus blue state blue City versus red City type bullshit but I can say that that's a lie I live in a red State and I also live in a red town if you're homeless and you're rambling around you really do not give a fuck about political parties that are in charge of any given area you just don't so it has nothing to do with the parties that are in power first off the landlord is going to charge what they're going to charge politicians do not set those prices if people can't simply afford it they just can't afford it that's just the way it is. Do I think that states or cities that are run by the Democrats cost more yes yes I will say that there tends to be a trend but I can also assure you that the red States and red cities are not from the same situation like I said the homeless situation is growing everywhere you go it's across the map it's not unique to certain States of course this is the part where the extremist red people show up and try to tell me all about how homeless does exist in the red areas but it's far less than it is a blue areas which is a crock of shit. At this point both political parties are in the process of trying to hide the first they're in the process of not disclosing what the month over month year over your growth is simply because if they released those numbers then anybody who is thinking to walk away from either of those parties well that issue alone would make non-believers out of those people instantly they would no longer be questioning whether or not they should support either of these parties it would be a no-brainer that both of them are shit.

Our home insurance has more than doubled since 2022, and auto insurance has also spiked. Add to that the "price creep" for groceries, gasoline, medical needs - and we have "0" in reserve. In 2008 I was in graphic design / advertising. When the crash came I decided to find something more sensible. I knew the world was run by the corporate elite. People that created their own wealth. I decided the only way to survive was to climb the slippery slope of power. Did an online law degree part time over six years. Busted my hump building a small practice and, over time, manoeuvred myself onto a tribunal / decision-making panel with essentially unlimited, regular work. People in advertising when I left laughed at me for leaving that “cool” career for something “nerdy” and “boring.” They said I was full of “doom and gloom”. I made my choice and paid my dues and headed off risk as best I could. I don’t know what happened to my old colleagues… but at least I know I won’t end up in a tent.

She had complained about the lack of in-person interaction with people, but I had no idea to what level that mattered to her. There were a multitude of reasons she did it, but I couldnt help but feel like that helped to push her over the edge. I periodically call all of my people now just to see how things are going. I dont like the feeling that I didnt read the signs, or could have done more to help her.

    Not really, I mean that's like the old thing out of the '90s was that computer we're going to need to have all of these papers floating around and office and then what immediately followed was here's a printer print everything out and filed a way accordingly so companies are still dependent file cabinets it never did away with any of that shit you still need people to correlate this files you still need people to organize data sets data entry jobs are actually still a thing. Basically the computer was once talented as making most offices go paperless reality all it did was increase the papers now I will say that you can argue that it made jobs a little easier to wear the workforce might depending upon their job have a slight bit more of downtime so the employers then got scared someone was going to stand there for 2 minutes with literally nothing to do so then they drum up even more busy work so then of course you have metrics and metrics has done nothing but further the micromanaging bullshit that really goes on that has made a lot of jobs particularly in the office world miserable. The biggest thing that has caused jobs to disappear no matter if it's clerical work or if you're in a department store or even a Mickey D's is simply they've taken three jobs and there you go that everybody's half double if not triple up on the workload. It's like for instance in retail management gone are the days that the store manager and their assistant sets in the office and does not under trucks those days are over the management particularly if they're on salary is looked at is yet another employee that could do just as much as what everybody else is now fundamentally I can agree with it problem that you have is they still have a lot of mansion manager duties that's basically office work problem is some of that work can be very time consuming and not everybody is super quick at it so what might take one manager an hour to complete and take another guy an hour and a half to complete meaning that's less time that he's on the floor and if the upper management notices it they're going to yell at them even though they keep piling on all this useless shit. Everywhere has basically added enough garbage to most jobs that you're going to spend roughly 60% of your time trying to meet fictitious goals that etc versus doing your actual job. And of course it has become the default rotating door within the establishments exactly why they go through so many people they fire so many people on a daily basis over nonsensical metrics and unrealistic goals that it ain't wondering nobody can hold a job anymore the jobs are basically unstable and it's on purpose they don't really want anybody getting comfortable so how the fuck are you realistically supposed to go forth and pay rent and have a steady home if it's basically built into the system known as work did it's unstable there's always a few people that managed to stick around for 9 or 10 years but eventually those people get theirs.
