Yeah apparently the camera angles were only a problem with reviewers when Outbreak was released. Before that RE 1-3 got great reviews with the exact same gameplay and camera angles.

I’ve never heard of Outbreak being considered amongst the most “terrible” RE’s in the franchise... in reality it seems it was just before it’s time.

Don't you think the (L) on the list stands for "Lucas" instead of "Living" as it's probably not Lucas making these lists?

I mean, if outbreak was made but with the modern conveniences that we have now (in game voip, simple online methods) I think it would actually be successful.

Lucas’s death referenced Saw and The Thing. And Jack in the basement references Evil Dead.

I actually enjoyed Resident Evil Outbreak

I made it twelve seconds into this video before this mans voice got inside my head and told me he’s got 900+ hours on world of Warcraft.

I don't know, I personally really enjoyed outbreak and a remake or continuing of it would be really interesting, especially if it was more online based.

Actually, the list of dead, & Turned was Zoe's list, & it would be safe to assume she wouldn't have known that Clancy was taken to play 21 after his escape from the bedroom

How would you know if we missed something? What if we already knew the things we knew before this video was even posted?

I knew all these except the sound of the locks. I’ve played every resident evil and love most. But still played them all.

What about the sound the key pad makes when you enter in 1408? :D that sound is from other older Resident Evil Games :D

I stopped watching after he said "Resident Evil outbreak is widely considered one of the more terrible resident evil games out there."

Actually the keypad sounds for the 1408 thing are from outbreak

The little clip from outbreak actually looked pretty cool.

I think the (L) next to Clancy's name on the list of people stands for Lucas, since Lucas used him to test out his "Party Room" they decided to label it that way. But yeah I guess they never fixed it.

Where are the Evil Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre references?

To me each character references different movies Mia references Evil Dead because she's fast, relentless and changes from loving to freaking possesed in a second like the deadites Jack is a Slasher villain (Never runs and likes to use his axe) mixed with a Rob Zombie psycho (Taunts you, has a LOT of fun terrorizing you). I can't pinpoint Margerite inspiration. Lucas is Jigsaw And Everlyn falls under the "long black haired ghost girl" trope mostly known for Sadako from The ring.

btw Outbreak was a great game that came out TOO early . Im Suprised Monster Hunter managed to survive that era.

Jill Sandwiches also is a reference of a reference of the RE Jill Sandwich joke from Barry. In the first dead rising game, another game by cap om. There is a Sandwiches shop in the mall called Jill's Sandwiches I believe the number is the same too.

There was one thing I noticed about the '1408' code. Once it's pressed into the key, it makes a sound. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it sound exactly like the sound used for Dino Crisis? Like when selecting an option or item or what not. I could be wrong. It's been a while since I've played it.

There are some inconsistencies here, mate. And I'm not even gonna mention Outbreak. I mean, besides this time... The weapon Albert is not available in the SECOND playthrough, it's available in every save, no matter if it's one from before you finished or ones from future playthroughs. I know this because I had two saves when I finished, one of them back at the boathouse. I have access to Albert and that scroll as well. I can't remember if that magazine referencing Raccoon City is in the mansion, but I'm pretty sure there is a newspaper in the ship. I think that was the first one I saw, actually. The images for the keypad... are not the keypad. And Lucas is under Eveline's mind control. He was nuts before everything happened, so we get the impression he's not infected. But he IS. It's very clear when you arrive at his "paradise". That first interaction pretty much reveals that he's infected AND seeing Eveline even though she's not there. Isn't 555 a phone number of sorts in the US? I've seen COUNTLESS films and animations using mock up numbers that start in 555. I'm not the best accent judge, but you sound American to me. So how come you don't know that? I'm Brazilian and I know that!

Gabriel Cavalcanti about Lucas - it's possible that he IS still under her control and she is just making him THINK he's free.. but he explicitly states in a file found in-game that he has been faking it for a long time. Though if he isn't infected, how does he have his hand reattached? (Unless he actually doesn't and I just never noticed...) It's possible that there are differences between being infected and fully under her control... you know how like in the original games the T-Virus would turn the majority of people into a zombie, but a select few were capable of transforming into a Tyrant. So Lucas may be one of the "lucky" ones. He's definitely crazy, and also working with whoever created Eveline in order to try and perfect the "super soldiers" Ethan is clearly infected as he gets his hand/leg reattached and he can see Eveline, but she can't control him (otherwise this game would be even shorter) there are a LOT of questions that need answering so I hope they actually get round to it when they finally release "Not A Hero"!

How is the Resident Evil 3 sounds an obscure reference? It's heard through the game. I'm sure the familiar noise would have hit a light on anybody.

Woah there you missed a lot! Eve turning into grandma and turning into melting black goo screaming "DaMn yOu AlL tO heLL!!" a reference from dawn of the planet of apes Then its the joke on the small quote "anyone seen my mower? *anyone saw my leg?* " this is a twisted reference to ethan losing his leg , and there are 5+ mowers in the map , parked in odd spaces. You can get x-ray goggles , which effect is psychostimulants but foroever , and a circular saw that is awesome. I could write moaar , but discover it yourself ;)

also when the father grabs the chaisaw he reffers to bruce cambell..he says 'groovy'

even if he did show the wrong keypad it would have been wrong anyway cuz it's not RE3 SFX it's Code Veronica SFX

at the end of the game you get an normal albert-01 while in later playthrough you get a replica hence why it is so much weaker and has lowermag capacity

During resident evil 2's outbreak, a gun made by albert wesker appears.

Actually, you're wrong about Clancy. Lucas did put "L" instead of dead or turned. Because Clancy did lived!, If you successfully win the the Blackjack Game or "21" in the Banned Footage. Lucas will let you (as Clancy) to getouthere alive.

in the number 9 you dont receive the Albert 01 r at the end of the game, you get the one time only Albert 01, the true thing, the r stands for replica so the gun you can use after finishing the game isnt the same you use at the end of the game

The meds used in RE7 contain parts of what makes the bakers regenerate. If you cast back to the garage fight. A certain someone named Jack survived the fire and 2 explosion. If Lucas (what L could stand for) got ahold of him and wanted him to partake in 21. He could bring him back. But hey it's just a theory..

I don't remember outbreak ever being considered terrible. Maybe Survivor, but not outbreak. Also, I'm pretty sure the newspaper that says "16 years since the nightmare of Racoon City" is on the ship not in the mansion. Additionally, I'm pretty sure you show the wrong birthday party "keypad" when talking about the sound effects. Furthermore, I only missed two of these.
