Correction, Louis the 14th was the Sun King, not Louis the 16th. Under Louis the 14th The Palace of Versailles was expanded from a hunting lodge to the Grand Palace that stands now.

So what, my shuttle back to the mothership is parked under my lake. The flight to the L3 parking area takes about 3 earth days. 😊

Just my opinion, but IT’S NOT A SECRET PASSAGEWAY IF IT HAS VISIBLE HINGES AND A DOOR KNOB!

Sure, but think - statistically, how many doorknobs did you count? Youre bound to guess inaccurately

The image you show as George W. Vanderbilt ii is that of his nephew, William K. Vanderbilt ii, known as Willie K.

In the Vanderbilt Estate the room off the Library was actually George Vanderbilt's office. I have seen the room. It has only been opened rarely and has never been renovated. Today it is just an empty room.

The Roman Empire in the east ended in 1453, when the Turks captured Constantinople. Might as well call it the Byzantine Empire.
