I can tell you as a programmer that big tasks don't come about directly, they are a result of many other smaller tasks built on them. These machines evolved from simpler ones with more complexity added with every step

Especially when one of the machines, in my case the vape liquid filling one, was so uninteresting, not satisfying. Clashing with the narrated text,

The further you watch, the less satisfying the machines are.

I'm an operator at a candle factory. Setting up label machines and watching them work perfectly has to be a very gratifying experience

What does gratifying mean?

I mute the volume and speed up the clip. That is satisfying.

The cow part isn't cruel. Leaving them with overly long hooves would be cruel. The 2nd machine is VERY satisfying to watch. Even breaks metal effortlessly.

It is cruel not to do it since the cows are not traveling their normal terrain, the hooves are not naturally wore down. The excess length of hoof will in turn result in unnatural stride, muscle atrophy, and lameness. To include hoof based diseases resulting from the deteriorating of natural hoof hygiene. All of this applies to all domesticated hoofed livestock and private kept hoofed wildlife. Lastly, the same lack of erosion occurs to the teeth.

Im a machinist on mills. It still baffles me how powerful they are.

About half the time we were seeing the carbon fibre weaving machines, they were actually weaving fibreglass or plastic lines. The carbon fibre lines were the black ones. When the lines were white, it would usually be fibreglass, or sometimes a plastic thread.

The narrator is the most satisfying in all of this video

Cows like the tipping machine, they like their hoof trimmed. I never seen a cow afraid to go in there unless its his/her first time.

There were atleast 2 that I have personally used and wish the shop I work in now had them both.

It is amazing how few people were wearing safety glasses and equipment.

never thought I'd see my job on the list... I operate/program a tube laser cutter... mine is a Bodor 3000 watt laser and I routinely cut metal up to 9mm thick.

I have to give credit to the one who created these machines. Wow!! So smart

Funny, I think you're right about the cow hoof machine deal. The cows seem to be totally fine with it. They may have had it done before and therefore aren't afraid of it before and also know how much relief it gets from the trim. When my grandfather couldn't bend enough to trim his nails they'd get really long, to the point where he wasn't correctly walking and his feet would hurt. I trimmed them for him and, even though he was totally against it before during and even right after, he did notice less food pain and the next time they needed trimmed, he asked me to trim them for him. Shitty job but after the first time, he really appreciated it. I also enjoy watching the hot springs being made. They're made hot so that they'll keep their exact shape. There are machines that could roll them cold and some are but some types of material and spring types have to be done hot or the material will try to spring back for one and also heating aligns the grain structure of the spring steel making it a better spring. Something that big could be used for earthquake proofing something and it which case, it would have to be exactly right when it's done.

Its really not that pleasant. The farm I worked on had a hydraulic crush and often cow would lash out, It was a pretty terrifying machine to operate. We had a cow one day that had a dodgy leg put through the machine (you couldn't tell) and we wasn't told. The machine snapped its leg :(. The process needs to be done but I can assure you its not pleasant and the cows tolerate you working on them at best.

As a jeweller , I used to repair Sterling Silver and Gold chains . Couldn't do it now .

The "farmer" doesn't perform the hoof trimming. They are called farriers. They also trim horses hooves. The farmer has enough to do!!!

The Braiding Machine with carbon fibre is amazing. Plus how to made a aircraft carrier. From the beginning to the end is super amazing. It takes incredible engineering and precision and time. Watching the time it takes is outstanding for the workers to watch.

Typically the automated machines are made by tool and dye makers, but other trades get involved too.

I linear friction welded the bare metal of my worn out brake pads, to the brake disc one time. That was lots of fun.

Watching this video is like watching a guy who knows how to say a lot of really long explanations of things that are completely unrelated to the topic and relating them in an odd way like with a professional grandma covered in spider webs.

5:30 - Jokes on you, those cartridges are weed distillate cartridges. And as the dosages in those are, pardon the pun, high, a machine is the only reliable way to do that.

The linear welding machine was most interesting. Great way to weld small objects without deformation and tons of slag.

It definitely has its time and place, but tig welding is also a good solution to getting even cleaner welds on small stuff, because of the shielding gas and the fact that it doesn't use flux which makes slag keeps it clean, and there's so much control over every part of the process, it's easy to well thin and small stuff

worked in a factory for a few years. oftentimes the machine setup, stocking raw material, carting away finished product-sometimes even stacking it [old machines] takes longer than the actual product run. lol. 2 hr set up - 1/2 hr for product ordered [+ a % for breakage, misaligned, damage in transit, yada] - then set up for next batch order. Still fun to watch the machine working. most fun like this - on video, not involved with set-up, filming, editing - just watch.

If you want a truly satisfying experience watching this video, then hit the mute button.

A lot of these machines doing their job ranks right up there with watching the grass grow!

I live in Windsor Canada and I deliver Tools and die and Mold to all the Factories. I know all those Machines and how they works. At First I was so Amazed but later on I realise it easy to do.

Very few people use that type crush since it’s old school. Most cattle crushes are stand up and automated.

Would just chew it up. High density steel is far faaar stronger than titanium but it would be an interesting battle.

I have spent time in my life as a professional announcer, working in Top40 radio. I have been asked, over the years, to define the term "Ron Radio Voice". I can now say that whatever is narrating this video is an absolutely perfect example of someone trying to sound like a professional announcer and failing miserably. They are a near-perfect "Ron Radio". My advice is to stop immediately, and let someone else talk for you. continuing to speak for yourself will damage the hearing of anyone near you. Much more restful than watching these machines in action was doing it in utter silence after muting the painful narration.

The Nibbler would be my #1 pick. Only because its probably the most affordable tool demonstrated but one that I would get the most use out of. Pipe bender would be my 2nd choice👍👍
