This is a really nice video, well done. Maby when you ever make a part two you can put Fraser Island (Australia) in there. It is such a beautifull and amazing island plus it has wild Dingo's.

  • @varalyn9714

The story they gave was wrong, the man found the body of a drowned little girl with a doll on the banks of the island. He felt bad for her so he buried her and made a shrine with her doll, he supposedly heard her crying at night and her voice telling him to get her more dolls. She was not a “young woman” she was supposedly around 5 and she was not visiting the island, she just washed up there. He was probably haunted because he was the only person who lived on the island.

While it might have been 'nice' to see just the video-maker's opinion of the world's most beauteous islands, I believe it was wise to include those islands that humanity should regard with disgust and shame. The comparisons between the beautiful and hopelessly polluted, the weird and the wasteful are certainly very stark, and this video has certainly generated comments. Perhaps it will encourage some people to consider their impact on the planet and act upon it, even if just for a short while (which is about the best most people seem capable of).

I would not throw plastic into an active volcano. The pollution from burning plastic is carcinogenic and would be quite disastrous to the health of people living downwind of a volcano. No, as well as finding alternatives to as much plastic as possible (by returning to good old metal, wood, paper, glass and adding plant fibre alternatives), manufacturers should make plastic easier to recycle, and then rubbish wouldn't be a problem. I think there are just too many types of plastic out there, and this makes recycling too time-consuming when it comes to sorting it out. Also, too much plastic 'still' can't be recycled, despite supermarkets 'claiming' that they always researching new ways to recycle plastic films, plastic bottle tops, etc. No they're not. They're opting for the cheapest ways to package a product every time so they can eke the most profit possible out of everything they sell - environmental responsibility is the last consideration. It takes 'us' to stop buying irresponsibly-packaged goods to make a real difference - and we can allow volcanoes to blow their tops in peace.

I wish people would put a warning up or something. Now you might say well what about snakes, scorpions etc. where do we stop? Well, I say that spiders are shown way more often. Please! Give a warning or don’t fill the whole screen with a spider. It’s akin to having one in my hand! Please!!!
