@@homar8160 or the people who are giving away the animals to new owners can do this thing called a background check, see if the new owners are safe to give the pets away to, and it wouldn't hurt to ask if they've ever owned a pet before and to give tips on how to properly raise the specific breed, you'd think those who are giving away animals would make sure the pets go to a good owner. so how about you think before you speak as well cause your no better

It’s my puppy’s first Xmas, but she’s the OPPOSITE to big. In fact she’s a King Charles Cavalier, a ruby one. Which are smaller then the other colours of King Charles’s. Hope your dogs are ok now and in time to come! :)

I work with dogs, and one of them is a Dogo Argentino. He's the sweetest boy. He'll snuggle with you and is very well rounded. I also work with a fila Brasileiro and he's the biggest crybaby wimp I've ever seen. He's scared of EVERYTHING and just wants to sit in your lap and be babied. They're both fantastic dogs, and that's because they have great owners and have been working with me since they were puppies. I cannot stress enough how important proper training and socialization is for all dogs.

So basically you have around you a cuddle buddy and a drama queen 😂😂😂 would like to see them in one of their moments 🥰🥰🥰 my friend works with rescue dogs. Like those that are so aggressive because of humans, that nobody wants them or gives them a chance. She reabilitates those dogs to the point that you wouldn't think they've been trained for fighting for example. They turn into such kind and loving ones.

So it was just me and the dog. But he didn't jump at me or anything. I just stayed calm and sat down on the couch. I let him come to me and I just started petting him.

German Shepherds are like boarder collies I have 2 of each.... and if you train them right and give them the attention they need they are awesome to own. So energetic and great for bearding our sheep on our farm they are very useful and actually saved one of our baby sheep’s from running into the road and getting hit by a car coming. Very loyal as well just need to put time into training. Love them

German Shepard Husky/wolf was my dog, And we got Alaskan Malimuit Border Collie as a friend.... Rottweiler's Pitbull's And Mastiff can be trained and will make good pet's... But it is how you treat them instead.

I love the way he perceives the way pit bulls are viewed while giving context about owners being the root problem.

I'm very glad how you pointed out about experienced dog owners. And how it depends on the up bringing and training on every dog breed. Because it is very true! Also another thing to prevent any dog attacks, KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH! Even if they are friendly, and non animal aggressive, it's for their safety.

The sad part is there are no bad dog breeds , only Bad owners /trainers. For years I bought and trained most of the so called bad breeds. The old timers years ago told me who's smarter animal or trainer. Animals are only as good as they are trained/ loved . Most people can't do as they should with other people much less teach a young animal the basic commands

Every dog might bite at one point, even if it's not on purpose. But Pits have such a devastating bite - they can disfigure you or kill a child. Trust me - I was one of those "It's bad owners not bad breeds" and had a Pit. Never bitten anything, just an angel, big baby, never been hit. Then one time my mom was simply walking in the house and he was sleeping on the side. As she passed by him, he suddenly woke and bit her leg.....She almost lost the normal use of her leg.....The pit was dreaming something and attacked before it even realized what was happening.... So no having a pit near children is IRRESPONSIBLE, no matter what people would argue. No matter how much he hasn't bitten before. Simply because the breed needs one bite to kill the child..... So there are bad breeds to have, if you are a parent.

Not true. You do get doggs that are naturally aggresive. Look at the statts. Those do not lie. In South Africa there are several killings per year by pitbulls. I love all dogs but would never ever trust a pitbull.

Me too I have two alaskan malamutes, very mellow gentle giants. One is just a giant couch potato. Although I never give them the chance to get in touch with small animals just out of respect and pre caution they both do just fine with my cats and have never had any issues in 8 years. Those are also my cats, wouldnt trust them around others they havent been raised around. But very very sweet people loving dogs!

Most shocking was German shepherd, because I saw so many of friendly ones and know many first time dog owners Owning them❤️.

I have a 3 year old boxer and I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old but I’ve been around him since he was born. I’ve also had several boxers while growing up. They are one of the best family dogs in the world. The only problem I’ve ever seen with kids is boxers get excited and knock kids over but as long as they are trained well they are one of the most loving and friendly dogs there is. I wouldn’t want another dog to raise with my son. Boxers truly are the best

The Bull Terrier wasn’t bred for fighting other dogs, they was working dogs to Nip the Bulls on their heels to keep them moving.

Yeah, my pitbull is trained but is used as a family dog and a guarding dog bc we have lots of people that do bad choices, and I cant fight well- But he NEER bit, nor attacked anyone other then when he is playing with us (My family) And I'm a very experienced with dogs .. I've had like- 10 and I saved 2 of them from nearly dying.. He has attacked, but that's because some other dog bit him and my dog just tried to play- so they started fighting but are both safe now! Nobody died!

I have a hovawart. It is a big guard dog and he is so attached to me and my dad i think he has fear of abandonment. Even if my friends and i are fighting a bit because we get drunk, he has to interfere on my behalf. He likes my friends and he is gentle but when someone even tries to hurt me or my dad he completely turns and starts warning the attacker. His teeth are huge so every dog or friend of mine that went a little too close always gets scared so nothing bad happens. What a beast.

It’s sad cause they are not born like that people make them like that !

@@cl1cka Wrong. It's all in how you raise them and if you have the experience to work with these breeds. I've owned Rotties most of my adult life. There was only one breed that ever bit me and that was my Shizh Tzu. More than once BTW without any provacation.

My moms friend has a Doberman and she is the most shy and skittish dog I’ve ever seen and she is so sweet

I like how they went over the top on all the other dogs when pitbull’s they try to defend. People do more attacks and more kills than any other dog breed and you could argue that it’s the owners then that means if you like pitbull’s you are a bad owner just by nature and you shouldn’t own a dog to begin with

Probably because most people don't get Pitbulls based on reputation unless they're well versed with training the animal or receive supervise training. Ps regarding some of the other comments your right some smaller breeds attack more often but if pitbull or a chihua only one has a realistic chance of seriously killing or hurting someone unless it's the most badass chihuahua. btw I love pit bulls would love to get one but I'm aware I've no where near skilled enough to train one currently since I've had mostly smaller/medium size dogs.

I have a male Neapolitan mastiff and he’s fantastic, had him from a puppy, he was well socialised and we’ve never had any issues with him

Also have a 6 month old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix And a 6 year old putbull and they’re the absolute sweetest! They love everyone and every animal! It’s all how they’re raised. My pittbull especially loves kids and cats! He and my tom cat are best friends.

I own a mastiff and they are some of the nices dogs but to do get loyal and become very protective but they will only hurt u if u hurt there owner

I’d say the bull terrier I’ve hade one since I was 3 and he never showed any aggression to me or anybody I knew

I own a shih tzu and a pit bull. Our pit is honestly the sweetest thing ever. She's a rescue, she was used as a breeding dog for fighting dogs. Then when the owner was found out and patrolled by police, Izzy (our pit's name) was left behind. She then was brought into a shelter, we adopted her. She has the biggest heart ever. Never bites us. In fact I think she was to kill us it would be smothering us with love. I think its how you treat the dog, I believe even though she was used as a breeding dog, they had to show her love or something for her to be the way she is. I hate the fact that she was used for that but she's a great dog. People who use dogs as tools and such are monsters. They alter what could of been a amazing family member into a killing machine. So I say it's the owner not the dogs fault how the dog grows up.

people use chains for dog collars and thats what drive dogs mad, they are uncomfortable and injure the dog.

Chains are to make it easier to control the dog, chains are usually used for boerbels, mastiffs and any other huge dog

Funny but true.my mother had went into labor with my younger sister.the dog ,had scented what was going on.she went into attack mode. Nipping at the ambulance people that tried to get my mom out the house.finally ,my brother threw a blanket over the dog.this gave some one time,to get my mother on stretcher and ambulance to hospital. Thank god , mom had healthy baby at the hospital. And who said dog is man's best friend. Na na dog is a going into labor,about to have your baby any moment best friend. After all that mom made it to hospital S . .

i had a malamute/ German shepherd and he loved other dogs specially puppies doesnt matter what sex thy were or breed never had problem and it was my first dog of choice, i wouldnt mind another one either.. they r great with kids with all ages.

I may sound biased but German Shepherds are amazing dogs and family dogs! I have been owned by several since I was a toddler. We even bred military and cop GSDs. They are a lot of work for a large breed but if trained and given “work” they are very lovely dogs. All of the ones I have loved were very loyal, protective and extremely smart. My parents, my sister and I all own a GSD and they would be offended. My Germans hold a very special place in my heart. Same with my mastiff mix and lab/pit mix rescues who passed away.

I've a doberman pinscher and he e just a sweetheart

I have a Neopolitan massive and she fit the description she was given she is very gentle and loving.

Now Doberman Pinschers My aunt and uncle had a brown and black one. At the age of 7 I use to go in the back yard and play with them. One of the most lovable dogs I came across and I'm 42 now.

I live in Louisiana...my neighbor breeds Akitas. They aren't banned. It's too hot for them. I disagreed w/ most of this list

I have a pit bull she's a rescue and she is kinda protective BUT SOOOOO caring

I have had putt bulls for years and they are the sweetest dogs ever

This was my rubydew, she was very smart & would not bite nobody. All she wanted was 2 b loved & hug & played with. At days end she just wanted u'r lap. She crossed over the 🌈 Feb.19th of 2020. I miss her a lot.

Any vicious or dangerous animals have been made to REACT that way aside from animals in the wild who are territorial and protective. People and animals are much alike as they often rely on instinct.

Umm I don't think german Shepherd a bite force can get that high, The average german shepherd psi is about 230. The hardest biting dog is a kangal wich has a psi bite force of 730.

So your saying he has a stronger bith than the hulk.. have u seen the size of the head on that pit...lol..and pits average bite is stronger that a german..like I said average I think there around 320 psi avg. And hulk was like 500 psi..

I have a pit bull named Maggie and she is scared of other dogs so she’s not even a killer like a lot of people think

I own an Akita, He goes to work with me every day and is good around everyone. The only time he's scary is when the doorbell rings.

It's not the dogs, it's the owners. As my mom says. She specializes in training pitbulls to change people's views on them. We have had many and they are sweethearts.

They aren't illegal unless the owner decides to make them that way a lot of these are usually extremely lovable!

A huskie isn't bad they so cute nice and kind and they can even talk 😍

I have an Alaskan malamute and she is the sweetest laziest doggo ever she is very protective of any child she will not bite but she will push you out of the way if you act aggressive towards kids. And spot on with not liking smaller dogs. But she doesn’t mind cats or frogs everything else she doesn’t care for

when we’re akita’s banned in michigan i had one 5 years ago and he was reheated ed just fine i even breed him a few times

There are no bad dog breeds, there are evil owners who make their dogs aggressive for a reason usually all bad reasons. The owners should be out down not the dogs. Dogs can very easily be rehabilitated, people cant

Preach on!!! Im glad that he pointed out why they are "so dangerous" or banned. I think it's sad that the breed gets a bad reputation. I have 2 American bullies and 1 Chihuahua.... the Chihuahua is the one you need to fear!!! Lol!

DOGS ACT THEY WAY YOU TEACH THEM AND THE WAY YOU ARE WITH THEM. Okay I worked and volunteered at an animal rescue shelter, I have worked with all of the animals Except the Mastiffs and the Akita they are all so sweet and loving, they came from horrible places, some were aggressive because they were scared when we first got them as we rescued them from the horrible place they were, but as soon as they realized we weren’t there to hurt them, they ARE so sweet and loving and NOT aggressive! ❤️

You forgot wolves. They are one of the most banned around the world.

I have 3 pitbulls, and they are honestly all angels, they love to play, and socialize, and my youngest pitbull(his name is West) he loves to play with kids, and he is the most gentle pitbull I have ever seen. Sure once in awhile they will pull a little bit when on a walk and they see another dog, but every dog does that. It's just sad that pitbulls are mistreated the way they are. It isn't fair that they have to where a muzzle, and get everything else too! Honestly, being stuck under a label for something others did is not fair.

american akitas and the original japanese akitas are totally different. akitas were raised to be a protecter of his master and hunt wild boars and bears.

My grandparents own pit bulls. They are very playful. I have neighbors that have pit bulls. Their pit bulls are friendly and always run up to greet me. I've never been bitten by a pitbull. I've been bitten by a poodle and a Chihuahua however. As for me, I own a german shepherd pit bill mix. He is a good boy. He has never hurt anyone. But yeah, criminals and terrible owners give the dog a bad name.

I am 58 yrs of age, my children are grown and i have 12 grand children, i also own 6 potties and a jack russel. I have never owned a viscous dog and never will. They love the grandkids and never has one of my PITTS showed agression towards anyone. People create viscous dogs the dogs are not born viscous. Serial killers are not born they turn out that way later. I've been bit by a chawawa and mauld by a German shepherd when I was 8 that nearly took my life but I didn't blame the dog because I knew the owner made him that way, I saw things he did to that poor dog. So I know from experience what kind of people there are in this world.
