Some people call it "cosbounding" when it's not disney bounding. I do like that closet cosplay is alluding to the fact that people are just using what they have though, with maybe one or two bought items to finish the look rather than buying the entire thing.

I would love to see a video like “a week of dressing like characters” where you wear these outfits out and about. You would accomplish your goal of wearing pieces you normally wouldn’t and you could let us know if anyone recognizes your inspiration. :)

Ciri’s outfit was giving me Inigo Montoya vibes and Carl’s outfit was looking more like Karen Gillan’s Amy Pond wearing Matt Smith’s Doctor Who outfit. Seriously loved everything you tried on though. Daphne was super cute. You’re such a creative genius.

When the picture of Kiki popped up, both my daughter and I excitedly exclaimed "Kiki!". She loved it! This video was so much fun!

Your Qui-gon Jinn is something I would legit wear as a regular outfit. It looks like it enough to identify it as a fan but "normal" enough to wear as everyday wear without turning too many odd looks. I love how it works on so many levels.

This video was really just a compilation of me saying "Oh, that's cute!" every time she changed outfits

playing dress up is always fun, so 100% get the need to just go into closet and trying to get the vibe of characters one love via clothes without having to buy a bunch of new ones. Also that brown dress for Anja/Anastasia is amazing, and i kind of want one myself now.

My new favorite outfit in my wardrobe was put together with the prompt, “vampire from the future.”

Ghibli-bounding should definitely be a thing! A pity I didn't come up with that when I visited the Ghibli museum two and a half years ago. Especially loved the Darcy and Malcom outfits, too!

I love the Carl from Up look, and you look like Amy Pond decided to raid the Doctor's wardrobe one day. I love it so much.
