Man Ronny reminds me of my best friend in Malaysia, a Chinese fella called Lim, funny smart and realistic. I'm black and I remember we went to see rush hour 3 in Kuala Lampour after the movie was over me amd him (as loud as we are) went out the cinema theater laughing and joking not realizing that everyone was looking at us like.. Hey look, a real life version of Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan! I miss my friend and every time I see Ronny I always remember Lim.

The vaccine bit is the best kind of comedy. Talk about some serious social issue, point out in a few sentences the insane amount of inconsistency and ridiculousness in there, to the point that everyone realizes how funny it is and they really need to take a step back and look at it differently.

To everyone who has not watched any of Ronnie Chieng's videos, you fellas don't get to say you know what humour is because Ronnie here is the epitome of humour!! I have been viewing his videos for the past 3 years and even some of his videos on repeat. WHY? Because he is a fantabulous comedian. His exaggerated actions and emotional frustrations while saying something so exaggerated is the thing that makes me crack up all the time :D Not only that, the way he pushes absurd content using sarcasm is so skillfully executed that we as the audience could relate to how ridiculous and outrageous the story has to be for him to actually be telling his life encounters with us.If anything you guys should takeaway, it is that the world needs more laughter and jokes. Jokes are like the cure to one's perpetual misery that we constantly crave for in our lives as well as in the lives of others, so together let's start spreading much joy today!

Nah. It was Bla..whi.. so it was more than one. Nice try though.
I had to hit the emergency stop button on the train platform in Japan. Lived there for over a year, this happened 3 years ago, and I'm *still* not sure if I did the right thing. Context: A lady's shopping bag got stuck in the door (she was outside). People inside tried to pry the door open, but it wasn't working. I thought the conductor would see her and reopen, but nah. The train was about to dip, so I hit the alarm. She "thanked" me, but I have no idea to this day if it was 本音 or 建前 (basically sincere or sarcastic).
His combination of barely-contained fury and intense physical humor is a beautiful combination.
So effing hilarious and honest 🤣🤣🤣

Great comedian... discovered him through Netflix. Nice to see more Asian comedians making it... I've been wanting this ever since Russell Peters burst onto the scene way back in the late 90's early 00's. I watched his latest comedy show on Netflix, while entertaining, I still prefer his first Netflix show better because of the focus on the Chinese culture and observations felt more universal. The newest comedy show felt just a lot of general commentary and political discourse... maybe it's because it;s what he is doing now regularly but I liked the culture stuff a little better.
@lightonstillwaters6789

I agree, but am sure it is harder to do, since culture captures some bigger truths, but politics is more material to chew on and easier to digest
