Dendi wasn't only a player, he was the face of Dota 2. He still is, at least for me personally. He was one of the reason why my Dota 2 memories were worthwhile to look upon.

I remember how much excited i was when i saw notification from twitch that Dendi is streaming. I would stop everything i did, even alt f4 my game, lie in bed , pick some snacks and enjoy for hours.. He had 30-40k viewers at that time, which was among the top viewed in twitch at that time. Good days man..

Oh man I’m 33 now... this brings me back at least 12 years around 2010 first Navi squad.. This dude definitely is one of the reasons the game grew so much till these days... Just like watching the World Cup if it was Navis game day we all would meet up and not even miss the minutes before the horn =,)

The legendary plays that he made was using Dragonclaw Hook on Pudge back in TI 1, 2 and 3. Single-handedly made that item went over $300 up to 3-4 years until last year 😂 Thanks Dendi, I profitted a lot from selling those back in 2015 🤣

Nope cause the item itself are limited and valve made it so, from mythical to immortal rarity due to low stock in items Same as alpine set that was sold for only 10$ for being uncommon rarity sets And it went much more expensive than dc lmao

@@bowiejulio265 Nah, I'm not even a hardcore Dendi fan but I would say that the main reason why the DC hook becomes so expensive is because of Dendi, I bet DCH high price would stay for years if it weren't because of him. TBH there's nothing special about the DC hook besides being a bone hook. Sure the change of its rarity from mythic to immortal skyrocketed its price but If it weren't for Dendi's popularity with Pudge and for it being his favorite weapon skin I think DC hook's price would plummet down as Valve adds more immortal items into the game compared before. as for the alpine set, it's a different story because up to this day it's the only set with all immortal parts that Valve has ever released.

This what dendi standsout to the rest of the pro players today. He was very funny every time he plays in the international stage. Players right now is very serious you cant even crack a jokes to them. IMO

the last part where dendi got puppey was so hilarious !!! sure a lot of players surpassed dendi’s skills. but his humor, vibes and coolness will never be the same level.

Totally loving the comment section, everyone paying homage to dendi. Dota should get dendi to become one of their faces, his personality really represents what games should be, playful and positive.

Dendi is one of those players where back then, even when he's starting to fade, you have to be cautious of. His Magnus plays in particular show that sometimes he can still pull off something miraculous. Maybe he is the reason why the "Navi magic" exists where they seem to win games that are seemingly already lost.
