I just started watching college baseball. So I want to know how to playoffs works in college baseball

The tournament is a little bit like march madness in college basketball. 64 teams make it, and if you win your conference tournament, you get an automatic bid. There are 31 automatic bids because there are 31 conferences. The other 33 spots go to the best teams selected by a committee. All 64 teams are seeded 1-4, with the top 16 teams being a 1 seed, the next best 16 being a 2 seed, and so on. Getting into the actual tournament, there are 16 regionals, each with 4 teams, with one being a 1 seed, one being a 2 seed, one being a 3 seed, and one being a 4 seed. The 1 seeds host the regionals unless their stadium doesn’t meet the requirements to host set by the NCAA. The regionals are double elimination, and the last team standing with less than 2 losses from each regional makes it to the super regional. 16 teams make it to the super regional round, and there are 8 super regionals, which means 2 teams for each super regional. The higher seeded team out of the 2 will host the super regional, as long as their stadium meets the requirement to host a super regional. The 2 teams in each super regional will play a best of 3 series, and the winners of each of the 8 super regionals go to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, which means only 8 teams make it to Omaha. The field of 8 teams is divided into 2 4-team brackets. These brackets are exactly like the regional brackets, being double elimination. The winners of each of the 2 bracket will play each other in the College World Series Finals. They play a best of 3 series, and the winner of it is the national champion.
