Did I miss something regarding the HeatMaster? They started the segment talking about the number of poor people that can't afford heat. Exactly how is a person that can't afford to pay their monthly heating bill going to afford an $11k furnace and all the wood needed to create the heat?

Well, $11,000 is a bit much of a “Nut” … also, it doesn’t indicate the need for the system to get that heat into the building (lots of plumbing) BUT … most of these things are used in Rural Areas where “Getting Wood” simply requires “Sweat Equity” and for many people this would simply be an upgrade from their existing Wood Stoves.

That gassifer is 11k in the western world. Funny enough, there are units that fit on pallets shipping to the third world for only a few thousand (American) dollars...

and it simply pipes heats, better option is wood oven/fireplace....in UK can do all heating and cooking for about £700 a year in wood....most modern heating is simply lazy and once its put in everyone uses radiators because of convenience, and once you ahve insulation, you need to run the ehating a lot to prevent damp....

Hey you can just use the fuel cube as the main tank for 1 or 2 generators. Well that's probably what I'd do. Just plumb it in as the main tank.

I've got 1800W on my shed and I can confirm it won't do much in a UK winter. My Petrol generator will though. Those units are a massive overhead - just leave the panels out all the time and get the benefit of £200 a year off your electricity rather than tuck them away.

that heat master pro....if you could add something to it like a heat turbine you could prob generate a small amount of power with it as well or if you could channel some of the heat into water you prob could genreate stteam power as well.

Sir.the soler is costly Nd will not work in rain and Winter. Best wheel power is Cheep and Runs for years with out Maintenance.

it burns irr moee efficinetly, but for 11k, it would take decades to make back the extra cost....perhaps if you dont have a heating system and are building a house from new....
