Yeah so I didn’t feel like going this route, but I installed an exhaust on my car and then the pipe was angled to where it aimed at the plastic part of the valance and it burned. But now that I’m going to get a new piece and real tips I hopefully won’t have that issue again, thanks for making the video man!

Thank you! I never sent my original one in so I ate the core charge. I wasn’t sure that you were allowed to send the original one in because it’s technically a different part number. I might be wrong though

Hey how durable are these exhaust tips? I'm sure you've had them on for a while, I'd love to hear your feedback on these so I can know whether or not to get them. Has the black finish peeled or faded at all?

Nope! They’ve held up very well. Haven’t faded or anything. The only damage they have is from when I lowered the exhaust and scratched them a little on the concrete. Other than that, I give 5 stars

@@DonnySRT bro the fucking valance cutout around the top started to melt! Part is the same as yours and the tips are the same, you have any issues with that? There is room between the valance and the tip so it's not like they're rubbing either

I found that part number on eBay and checked vendor to verify fitment. They said it wouldn’t fit. Are you sure the holes and snaps match up to stock bumper? I have a 2015 RT.

They say it won't fit because it's not quite a "direct swap". I always thought the stock rectangle tips were just a piece of trim attached to the valance but they are actually riveted to the frame/bumper. It's simple enough to remove them but it just means you can't take your valance off then immediately put the pursuit valance on. Once you remove the stock tips though it will fit.

I agree, man. The stock exhaust tips on both Challengers and Chargers are really crappy. I've been looking at dual tip exhaust to change it up but haven't had the chance. These look way better than those weird ass boxes hahah

I got a 2019 charger sxt with the rectangular shape tips similar to 2015-2019 sxt and 2015-2017 rt. Was this a straight bolt on after you modified your exhaust and made it round?

I did it the other way around. I put the diffuser on first and then went to get the tips put on

@@NOLEFAN16 No worries my man. With regards to the length of the tip, it really depends. Im not sure how long the pipe is that they replaced your resonators with. Typically, Im against "bolton" tips because people can steal them. If you can, I would still get them welded on. Then the shop can cut the 2.5 piping back if it's needed

It depends on which packages your car has. If your rear bumper matches mine exactly, it will fit
