@@mikeyneeley completely... I figure they're trying to figure out another way to monetize. Maybe they're not growing as fast as they used to or they're not seeing the videos pay off as well, or whatever... Hopefully they back off with this type of thing. I'll try their videos again, but if they're like this, I'm just going to pass them by or remove them from the feed altogether, which sucks... I've enjoyed and learned something from previous videos; either business or woodworking.

With a plethora of this information available for free, I definitely won’t be buying a program that honestly sounds ridiculous to me. When she said we had to buy the program to find out why not to use a pop-up canopy, I didn’t care enough to even finish watching. Sorry, I’ll just click the next video that’ll give me the ideas I’m looking for without paying anything.
I find that when you use a table, use a table cloth, it looks more professional and have that table cloth fit the season. Fall have a colorful leafy pattern. Use that one Sept. to Oct. And Nov. Use something that says Thanksgiving. And yes Dec. use winter or Christmas type of clothes. This may be in there pay for info part but i am giving it to you for free. This is just one of many tips.
Thank you for the ideas! I've done farmers markets in the past but haven't for a season😅 nervous. In a new state and a little anxious, but you guys' tips calmed me! I make more at markets selling my handmade tables, cutting boards, baked goods and body goods than I did in the Healthcare field!
My 12 yr old son has a business and does pretty well at his craft shows. Sales over 10 days were $3700. He makes oens and pencils. Craft shows are an amazing place!

Thanks for this video! always great to see what other people do. :) Would love to know about the backdrop and the setup..... don't know if I can get it here (Israel) but maybe there's an online source. :)
I love you guys - your energy, your vibe, your facial expressions, how much yall truely seem to care and most of all, how positive yall are!!! Go TEXAS, lol... Ive just started tinkering with wood crafts and would love to go yalls same path. Good luck and God bless yall....from Dallas
I just went to craft fairs and checked the ones I liked the way they were set up what they sold, and went from there.
Excellent tips . Thank you !!!!!!
thank you for the info have a blessed and safe day
Love all your videos.

I'm preparing to do a pop-up market near me in a couple of weeks. I'm looking for as much info and advice that I can get. I'm excited, but also a little apprehensive. My wife and I have been to this market a few times. It's in the parking lot of a busy shopping center. It's not packed like a popular farmer's market would be, but it gets decent traffic for what it is and it's not expensive for one day or the weekend. I'll be happy if I can sell 30%-50% of my items. I've also got business cards and an order book and plan on putting together a notebook with items I've made in case someone wants to buy something that I don't have that day.

Thanks for all the tips! Where can we find a craft show? Is there a good website you use? I have been watching your videos for a while. Thanks!
Have my first show in a week. I'm so nervous. I'm still making things for it and probably will be until the dat before.
Hi Jennie, where do you get your boxes from? I need similar sizes like the ones you and Davis use. Thanks, Marie Wood
I know you say not to use pop up tents. However 99% of out door shows and farmers markets in Oregon make you us only them.
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! Very Helpful. I'm so ready have my tent all my set up products ready to sell....Now my biggest struggle now is HOW DO YOU FIND SHOWS? Farmer Markets are telling me that you have to sign up a year in advance. So my question is WHERE are these Craft Fairs everyone keeps talking about?
Do you guys Evey go to Round top Tx the big craft show and if so will you be going this coming OCT
My biggest problem is having a full time job and uni to do at the same time. Only time I really have is between like July and September so yeah
Does you program tell what items to make to sell ? Do we need lasers or other tools ?
This really helped me I’m going to a craft fair in may it will be my 1st one selling stuff I’m so happy you made this video
I just picked up the micro course. Good stuff in it! One tip that isn't in the course or in this video... bring extra socks! You do not want to go all day with wet toes because of the dew all over the grass soaked through your shoes. :) - Choco Taco Delite
Need to find something to make first
Not using a tent is not viable in a state where it rains nearly every afternoon, or the sun’s trying to murder you… in February LOL

All of them, even farmers markets. You can also do comicon if you make some of them themed - not all, just some. Literally any kinda market - people will buy your work. Even food ones!! People go seeking something handmade not from the store/artisan experience.

The one you want to do first for furniture making is the one that has a large enough volume of people moving through that you get to talk to 65% of the people who stop to talk, and address everyone who stops in. You need to ask for contact info as well… find a super respectful means of asking. You and your ability to connect with people is more important than what kind of show imho. The ‘best’ shows sometimes cost a lot of money and might draw well-heeled and high-volume attendance but they often don’t produce many sales for the time and money you’ll spend.
Today is our last craft fair, we are thinking about throwing in the towel we can see a recession coming. You guys seem slow with orders too. What happened to the tables.

See a recession coming? Where have you been the last 6 months?
My Dad and son are named Davis. Good name
Not to be that guy, but, you know that your cutting board is missing its foot on the bottom right side right? You can see the hole where its supposed to be, but its not there. That isn't a good look for an informative video in regards to showcasing a product, it leaves an impression of shabby and rushed craftsmanship. Not being a troll, I'm just letting you know to remember to check your product for perfection before filming them.
How many craft shows have you done? Sounds like you are making a good amount of money with craft shows in your business.
Thank u for all the ideas and my sale will start running out of merchandise
I love you both and there is nothing you can do about it
Timestamps are your best friend... this didnt really answer the title lol

Please do not pay for this advice. There are many free videos out there on youtube alone that have great suggestions.
4 minutes in, nothing but rambling
I would say "I'm sorry", but I'm not. I guess I am yall's "troll". I dunno. I am a fellow Houston Houstonian. To a point, we are neighbors. I understand the point of turning a profit, I do. But for yall to CHARGE a fee for me or anyone else to gain information so we can succeed in a craft shop is, well, insulting. "We" woodworkers are a community of like minded crafters. We each have a skill set that grows with other like minded crafters and ""WE"" openly share our skill to teach and instruct others wanting to learn. We do NOT charge them for LEARNING. The both of you have shown yalls colors here and have shown that "YOUR" purpose isn't educational, it's filling your own pockets. You should be ashamed. Really. I belong to MANY woodworking groups....Kings Fine Woodworking, Mr. Outlaw 731, Steve Ramsey, Lincoln St. , Izzy and a host of others. ALL of them openly share their ideas and education and they do so freely. No charge. THAT is what a TRUE woodworking community is all about. Sharing ideas and communication of those ideas. YOU put a price tag on "that" ideal. That is WRONG!!! Sell your cutting boards, sell your tables. Great!! More power to ya. I hope you do well. But if you're going to come on here and try to sell me educational stuff that I can find elsewhere for free from other "like minded", TRUE craftsmen AND Women....then that's all your are, a salesperson. You are NOT craftsmen. I'll be sure to link my comments and this video to the community of CRAFTSMEN/CRAFTSWOMEN.

Thank you. Well said. Woodworkers and crafters are a group of people that are always willing to share for FREE. This is how we learn. Sometimes from their mistakes, but that is how we grow. Hi Jennie and Davis, I got your mini course and watched it last night. I work as a home care nurse on the night shift. I started my woodworking side hustle and posted my first video on my new channel on New Years Eve 2021/22 On may way home from work this morning I spotted a yard sign for a Holiday Craft Fair the first Saturday of December. I saw it as a sign (literally) from God that I should go for it! I got home and printed off the application, wrote out an $85 check against my $210 business account, and sent it in the mail before I went to bed. That only gives me 2 weeks to start making some inventory - with Thanksgiving smack dab in the middle of it - Yikes! BTW, it's cold and snowing here in Wisconsin

Be careful one thing not mentioned is you need to get a business license / tax license (depending what your state calls it) from the county where the show is. This isn't such a big deal for your local county but you'll need one in the county you're going to be going to as well
