You guys have great ideas. Love the videos. I do a lot of router work with templates too. I always have a hard time getting the right distance from the actual size cut on the bandsaw. Just happened to see you use a washer with your pencil marking to keep the distance correct. Pure genius. Every little tip helps. Thanks!

Recently started doing some woodworking to try and generate a bit of extra income due to inflation and being on a fixed income. Thought about getting started with Etsy but my concern was supply and demand. Getting covered up with orders and not being able to keep up would be a nightmare. The hug of death as you call it. However setting up at a flea market or craft show would be rough because of the hot weather. It used to not be a big problem but being older now the heat bothers me a lot more. Thanks for the tips.

Ummm, 220 grit should not be used for removing deep scratches. Hello? Is this thing on? Start at 60 grit if really deep scratches , then 80 grit, next go to 100 or 120, then 150, 180 THEN do 220 grit. Do it that way and then you are doing a proper job to compare the results of the 2 products. I will say that the 3M paper does leave a few particles of the sanding media after you get started with a new disc. That’s the particles sharpening themselves. It tends to stop releasing the large particles after a short time. I’ve been using this 3M paper and been very pleased with it. Mainly on walnut at the moment.

Hey guys, you may want to consider going to an EcoFlow battery backup. No noise and it comes with solar panels to recharge the unit. I bought one that will run a refrigerator for 43 hours without a charge so I am sure it would handle your needs in the shop.

*Great video! I really do have a question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the crypto market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?*

I have an issue with wanting to add some Resin 3D printers to my indoor office/workspace but they need proper venting due to toxic discharge just like your lasers. Help me Obi Wans, your my only hope!

Thanks for the video showing you didn't let major problems get you down. My sales for July have been horrible, but it's not just mine, the entire town seems to be in a slump. I am doing what I can during this time, such as building inventory for the busy fourth quarter and working on my KZread channel and website. Thank you for the reminder that as business owners we need to keep on keepin' on.

I think that wind storm hit us on May 9th in the Florida Panhandle. I went to work at 5am and was dumbfounded how our neighborhood went untouched but our town was hit super hard only a few blocks away. We were so fortunate to have been spared any serious damage that the rest of our town experienced. Like business signs fell on vehicles, trees were uprooted, and aluminum car ports were destroyed & blown across town

I have to re-wire my brain because hearing you talk about the guy at the farmer's market not bothering people and simultaneously not selling is something I do. I personally hate when I'm shopping somewhere and people start coming up to me asking me questions. When I shop, I want to be left alone...period. My thinking is, I know what I want and if I can't find it, then I'll ask.

Appreciate the video. Came at the perfect time. I'm currently sitting in the shop. Honestly discouraged. Just recently getting back into woodworking. Have a good amount of experience, have built cabinets, built inside, coffee tables, residential and commercial trim work, endless trinkets. Since I started back I have made $1200 in 3 weeks. Since then I have been in a rut. Making simple mistakes, lack of inspiration since the first item ran its course
