Have you read Kahlil Gibran? Have you read THE PROPHET? All the wisdom that one can get in his entire lifetime by these books can be acquired by buzzing with PROPHET in the head. Every single book is like a pull of a string of violin. All they when consumed together ( taking into consideration of the way of acceptance of our own lives) will make every note of the strings into a beautiful music quivering every moment of life. THE PROPHET is such an epitome of wisdom. Let's not take books for granted, let's not take life for granted. By the way, i enjoyed your review.

Dear Helly, when you talked about the short story book by Ransom Riggs, I was reminded of my recent favourite called CIRCUS FOLK AND VILLAGE FREAKS by Aparna Upadhyaya Sanyal. This is a book of 18 short stories written in verse about people who have been stamped freaks. They are unusual and peculiar. Also loving storytel so much. I recently listened to My Sister, The Serial Killer, which was shortlisted for Women's Prize for Fiction, through storytel. I loved it so much. It's a thriller but maybe not. It's slow and good. Also I listened to An Ember in the Ashes and Daisy Jones and The Six. I enjoyed the first one but didn't enjoy Daisy Jones and the Six. The latter book is not for my taste.

I've read both the classic books.

Please clear one of my doubts! Please...are books on storytel free? Or we have to pay for reading audio books besides the subscription fee?? As in audible I was seeing that we have to pay for reading even after paying the subscription fee😒. Also the prices are higher than the original cost.
