Love these well-photographed shots and the compilation. I know you feature more on the actual episodes, but I'd love to see a compilation like this that includes the bloodtracking. I'm an experienced bowhunter, but I'm always looking to learn from the experiences of others, and bloodtrailing has so many different possibilities and skills to always be learning. I learn so much about shot placement from your videos, it's crazy (I'm pretty conservative and only feel confident shooting for the the broadside double lung), and I'm sure bloodtrailing would be the same.

Crazy heavy horns. That shot looked several inches fwd of ideal, but it worked. i don't see how it didn't hit that big shoulder bone and go Crack, and come to a screeching halt with hardly any penetration. Surely a fixed blade with a fairly heavy arrow on that one? I hit one there once (5-6 in fwd of where i meant to, from 45 yds) with an avg--weight arrow and a mechanical and it didn't go well. Made a lot of noise and didn't even draw blood. I now shoot heavier arrows and fixed heads--and don't take 45 yd shots so i'm less likely to miss by 5-6 in!

Yes that was a 12-ring. Exactly where ya want that arrow to go. The buck did cooperate nicely by not budging, so many times when they slow the camera down you can see that what would have been a very good shot ends up high and back (sometimes fwd depending on how they do it..) because of them ducking and wheeling. Happens so fast 'live' you cant really see it.

2:43 A split second before the arrow hits, the deer jumps. 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder if they hear the bow.

Surprising how shallow alot of those shots are. Many must be using light draw or very light arrows. Some nice shots though.

Gonna say it Nebraska deer aren’t that small usually dependent on the place in Nebraska like where I’m at. There’s monsters just on private land though and there’s no public near me but out there they’ll get a little bit smaller and then there’s me there and then really small white tail
