When I became a nurse assistant My first patient Had Parkinson’s some how I didn’t comprehend the disease . He wanted a cup of coffee so I prapared his coffee and Left it in his table😮 then I Noticed his hand was shaking so fast I rushed to him And took the cup from him😢 however a feed him his coffee to him 😅 he got my hand and kissed and say Thank you❤

With a few exceptions, these patients deal with auto-immune issues. As a person with long-term conditions, I deeply appreciate their candor. Many people have "invisible" illnesses and are often told it's "all in your head," then sent to therapy. Therapy helps to deal with your loss of self, but it does not cure the disease. One day, we can only hope sufficient attention will yield better ways to address these conditions.
