I lived in St. Maarten island years ago. I will be visiting next month. This is one of my favorite islands. Can't wait to see some friends and family

A well done video which i enjoyed seeing since I grew up in that part of the Caribbean and is very familiar with those sight seeing areas.

What can I say - I came, I saw, I followed her advice, and I had a marvelous visit. If you're going to shop in Philipsburg in the off season, go on a day when ONE cruise ship is in port. You will have to compete with the cruise passengers, but at least the shops will be open. Often many stores close if there is no cruise ship in port.

I should have watched your video Before visiting Maho Beach. It was beautiful and overcrowded. I enjoyed the planes but did not find variety of food or places to sit and relax, not kid friendly either. 3:32

Simpson Bay and Maho are the nightlife hotspots. Orient is day time mostly.

Question about hiking alone. Id like to check out devil's cupper and the cupecoy caves but im travelling solo. Is it a safety concern to go alone??
