    Lets adress a few things, most of the advanced metrics being cited are shit stats that are completely context dependent and are an indictment on analytics. The only advanced metrics that's worth a damn that Jokic leads Embiid in is TS%. That's it. Any reference of VORP or PER should be ridiculed. Secondly, Embiid is quite literally a better version of Kevin Durant, yet we seem to place KD in a category above lol. Embiid is the most skilled big man and arguably the most skilled player to ever player the game POUND for POUND. At 7 feet 280, he can do hesitation step back threes with the same fluidity as a 6'3 guard. He's also has a remarkable post game that rivals the likes of Hakeeem while being bigger and stronger. He can move effortlessly down the court with such force. The intersection of explosivness, finesse and brute strength IS . UN FUCKING HEARD OF. I can't believe people would fall for the ooki dook and say Giannis or Jokic are better because of playoff success and media voted mvps. Jokci only LEGITMAATE edge over Embiid is his processing of the game. Jokic is considerably better at reading defenses and can fill that role of point center much like a magic would do in today's game. However, as of this season, Embiid has made great progress in that department. I saw him get shut down by the heat abrasive doubles because his reads were slow and he would turn the ball over far too often. Watch him this season. Not only is that hardly an issue anymore, he consistently makes the same reads that jokic can do consistently. And lastly, I vehemently disagree with the notion that sixers were better than the nuggets since the butler trade. The sixers are a team built to cater to BEN SIMMONS. Embiid is posting historical scoring seasons in spite of his own team being a liability. Tobias is a scrub and this team has never had a self creator at the guard position that you'd even call above average. It's a disgrace how he has been fucked over by his incompetent management. Elton Brand is a fucking moron. Anyways, I have no issues with someone preferring or deeming Jokic is better because he's the best playmaking big to ever play the game, but stop using fucking stupid arguments that reek of charlatan (not directed at yall but in general.

If Lopez is not there, I am not so sure if Portis can handle Adebayo as well as Lopez did last year. But anyway, this should be a great defensive grinding series. Giannis & Lopez & Holiday guarding Butler & Adebayo & Herro/Lowry; Adebayo & Tucker & Butler guarding Giannis & Middleton & Holiday. It should be fun. By the way, PJ Tucker was not the primary defender on Butler last year, it was Giannis

    To be honest, saying the Clippers championship window has been closed is crazy. They still have Jackson, Batum, PG13, Kawhi, Mann, Morris, Zubac, Kennard under contract who are members of the 2020-21 team (Well, if another injury happened that's another story, it could happen, but we don't know yet), and they have Boston jr, Keon Johnson: young players that coming up and give them some energy in the future. We can discuss it if something goes wrong next year, or either PG13 or Kawhi can't play next season, but right now no way the Clippers' championship window is closed.

    @glenn8886

    And there is no doubt the 2020-21 Clippers team is much better than the 2019-20 team. 2019-20 Clippers was not well-coached, didn't have good chemistry because of Kawhi missing too many games, and Doc Rivers didn't try different line-ups to prepare them for the playoffs. That's why before the bubble, I know this team has no chance to win the title. 2020-21 Clippers team has much better chemistry, better lock room control, and they have Ty Lue, who is willing to try different line-ups in the regular season to prepare themselves better in the playoffs. That's why I picked them to win the title before the playoffs (Of course they didn't). But throughout the whole playoffs, we can see that the 2020-21 Clippers team was a much better team than 2019-20. They were more coherent, better coached, and have much better chemistry.

Otherwise, love the chats, thanks for the quality content! Edit: Jokic is rated better defensively so saying Embiid is significantly better defensively doesn't really work. Embiid is a better rim protector, but Jokic is a better rebounder and stealer. It's close on both ends of the floor! Both legends.

    Jokic is better now and as a philly fan it's rough because it's a slim margin but Jokic getting more praise basically for playoff performance when Jamal Murray went nuclear, man... and if you had to choose 1 teammate to be a batman in the playoffs that 1 Jamal Murray run is easily better than any teammate than anyone has had because Butler went up vs PRIME KAWHI and was getting torched and Simmons has disappeared every playoffs, look up the stats and Embiid's ON/OFF numbers even when Simmons was there. things held vs Embiid in the playoffs: The Raps series when he had one of the better Starting 5s but a trash bench and look up the numbers on/off every playoffs for Embiid because Kawhi was KILLING Butler. not only that but that Raps team was DEEP because they had been a #1 seed previously b4 the trade for Kawhi even as well as when Philly made that move for Tobias at the trade deadline who is mid, Toronto got Marc Gasol which was a much more impactful move. getting swept by Boston when Ben Simmons was injured and his best teammates were TOBIAS HARRIS, AL FUCKING HORFORD and JOSH RICHARDSON. look at Boston rn w/ Al Horford and Josh Richardson and what fucking spacing did Embiid have to operate with Ben simmons NOT SHOOTING? You pair one of the better bigs in the league with another 5 (since Horford's games since ATL hasn't translated and most 4's then are now 5's), a NON shooting PG who stands in the paint or doesn't shoot so his man just sits in the paint knowing Simmons won't shoot. imagine if that's a normal PG like CP3, Kyrie, etc... EVEN Russ or Rondo who are traditionally TERRIBBLE shooters would shoot OR be aggressive at least. Josh Richardson? the guy where trading him for Curry might be 1 of the biggest swindles in recent history? and then last year vs ATL? we REALLY blaming Embiid for THAT? Embiid injury concerns are fair and justified but the supporting cast beside Embiid has NEVER been good enough relative to his competition, his best teammate in Butler faced prime Kawhi,his next best was never better than Jamal Murray vs what teams? Portland who's had the worst defense or Utah where jokic was good but the duel between Donovan Mitchell and Murray often gets brough up? when's the last time you could say Embiid had a teammate that went off. Embiid not solo carrying his teammates deficiencies (Simmons included) and chances are Jokic isn't either because Simmons has shrunk every playoffs

    A couple things everyone likes to conveniently forget about last year’s playoffs ; Chris Paul was hurt for most of the Suns-Lakers series & Milwaukie panicked in the first 2 games & shot way way below their averages the first couple games & then pretty much dominated physically. Also Embid has a gravity due to his physical dominance offensively & defensively that often doesn’t show in counting stats.. things like changing shots or creating shots when he doesn’t even touch the ball. Also the Clippers are going to be whole by the end of the year & will be competing for the championship this year. The Clippers almost made the the Finals last year without Kawhi & having been scheduled without 2 days off for almost 2 months… The Bucks are presently the clear favorites even over a healthy Nets who won’t have enough interior defense; GS don’t match up physically.. the Bucks found their identity during the Nets series last year when they established the schedule with Middleton being their closer… the championship will have to go through the Bucks. Playoffs are a game of matchups.. if the Net draw the Sixers they will struggle mightily because Embiid will dominate the interior.

Cam Thomas, Edwards, Sharpe all played solid when they had minutes not good but not terrible either you can develop them same with Claxton. The Clippers have who? Bostons Jr, Hartenstein, Amir Coffey. Amir and Hartenstein played solid. I like Brooklynn more also cause they’ll have cap space they don’t got anyone locked up as much as the clippers do.

Bigger, better, faster, taller, better scorer, better defender, rebounder, and YES, even passer. Cade is probably a more crafty scorer. He's got that game that feels star-like. But Scottie's impact metrics are insane. If you watch Raptor games, you'll see how often Fred, Pascal and Gary miss him WIDE OPEN under the basket. If he was playing either Mobley's role as a defensive utility big, Cade's role as primary initiator, OR Suggs' role as secondary initiator, he'd be putting up better numbers. 100% positive. Also, I honestly think it's hard to argue for EITHER of them over Mobley so far. Mobley's defensive impact pushes him over the edge as far as rookies are concerned.

    Jokic is the front runner for MVP. Let’s stop this silly idea that the award goes to someone in the top 3 seeds of their conference. Curry is having a down year by his own standards, KD is scoring at will but he isn’t having a impact on the game the same way someone who leads the team in every single category is. Like let’s be real. DeMar does his role but he has Zach, vuc, etc. around him. Giannis is having a similar great season respectively but looking deeper at the situation each finds themselves in it’s easier to say Jokic has a tougher sled. His two best other players aren’t there, he leads the team in every single category. They are a playoff team and he ranks top ten in assists, second in boards and top 10 in scoring. Let that sink in. He has hands down the tougher conference and tougher situation.

    Joel you're making poor arguments lol. The playoff success is angle is fugazi and you know it. I REPEAT, the last time the sixers had a competent and well built team, they were one fluky shot away from possibly going to the conference finals, in which they could've easily beat the bucks. I don't like this fascination with playoff success to determine who was better. Btw, Jamal MUrray had one of the best Scoring flurries ever in that Bubble run. It was quite literally a historic playoff scoring run. You can't attribute that to Jokic lol. Imagine if Embiid had a running mate who could create separation and score at the rim like prime fucking Michael Jordan. Instead, he has SETH CURRY WHO GOT HOED BY KEVIN HUERTER, and Tobias the bum ass who is stiff and can score as good like how an antoine walker would. It's just ridiculous. C'mon man. The second best player on the sixers as this roster is currently put is a two year player who is often misused by his horrific coach. And it gets worse, the whole organization is a shit show and is horribly mishandling the Simmons fiasco which is probably gonna cost embiid his prime years. This reeks of KG and Minnesota all over again. I hate it here lol. They're probably gonna hold out till the deadline and trade for a Haliburton. I need Embiid in Atlanta.

    Nets lose its the worst big 3 loss in history, it will be a travesty if they dont at least make the finals. Joel and john got into there feelings there. Kawhi and PG come back they at least make the WCF and if kawhi isn't hurt they make the champhionship last season. Kawhi is just that great of a player. But even if they lose i can understand because of how top heavy the talent is in the west. The Nets are suppoosed to run through EVERYONE , everybody gave them the championship to win before the season started last season and even with this year everyone keeps saying Kyrie comes back they win. If they cant win at least one this is the biggest failure in nba history WITH THAT TYPE OF TALENT.

    The one thing I hate about the whole 7 game series the Nets forced against the bucks you guys didn’t do that with injured harden and only KD you guys were 2-1 with Kyrie and 1-3 without him so Riv is right actually cause without Kyrie it’s trending that y’all would got 4-1 so what do you think you guys are talking about? I’m not saying the 76ers were that good but Joel Embiid would’ve played better against the Nets cause the defense is way worse. So it would be probably a 6-7 game series. Alanta would’ve beat the Nets that year with injured Harden and KD. That is such a dumb thing to say cause y’all were 1-3 without Kyrie😂. So if he’s out the entire series why y’all thinking you winning those first two games😂😂😂😂 y’all must’ve forgot huh? Nets fans be the funniest man I swear.

    My argument was if the nets Big 3 were healthy and they played I think they win that series and they championship. Your doing way to much thinking rn. My statement / point is that if the nets Big 3 was healthy they win that Bucks series and win the chip. But to turn around and say “if lebron and Ad are healthy they beat the suns” “if Kawhi was healthy they go to the finals. “ but if I say the nets and there 3 players are healthy they could win im looked at as wrong or a hater lol 🤣

    @@Jdot109 you cant say that based off 3 games y’all went 2-1 in tho that’s what I’m saying is that none of these teams can say y’all would’ve won if this or that cause even AD and Lebron went 2-1 against the suns? I agree with you it’s not fair if you can’t say it and they can I agree lol. So I say no one can say it cause both of y’all were 2-1 especially since the bucks were known for coming back from 2-0 that year just saying I think they could done it to y’all too. Zion is going to be the best player in the league once he stops eating dunkin donuts everyday. This is kinda random but I felt its needed to be said because I heard morons who are saying Ja Morant aka just baron davis with braids is better. Put some respek on his name.
