Hey Ghib, could you share which app did u use to plan the route? would love to go on a trip like this too
Congrats Ghib. For someone that’s been living in Singapore for only about 4 yrs you’ve been to more places and ate at more hawker centres than me who’s been here more than 70 yrs🤪👍🏼
What an amazing feat. Thanks for the hardwork showing us around the island of Singapore! Can imagine doing a round trip around SG like that to be so so difficult esp in our heat. Glad you enjoyed yourselves and had so much delicious food as always!!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Wow amazing a fan from Singapore here
Thanks for bringing us viewers to explore Singapore from your pov! So interesting and a fresh view of the island with yummy food!
Amazing work done for this video to be this awesome. Lots of sweat and tears involved in this one lol! Thank you for sharing your experience around the island. Try to do it again when the west side completes their cycling lanes (PCN) connecting the whole island. Good job to everyone involved!

Great video Ghib!! Really enjoyed it!! Defo want to do this next time I'm in SG 🙏
great video, Ghib! Cycling is indeed very fun, despite the insane heat in Singapore. And please take care of your knee!!
WELLDONE! Thank you for sharing your experience riding around Singapore, something many of us thought of doing but never done before. And you made it funny in some ways, entertaining and enjoyable even with your awkward "torture" and fight against heat, pain, speeding trucks, etc
the production quality is so good! i really love this! keep it up ghib ojisan🙌🙌

Yo bro.... I love this video very much. Awesome effort. Now you get to know Singapore even more having explore it on bike.
Ghib san, even as a young man who has above average-ish cycling experience here in SG, I have to applaud you. To be cycling in the local weather is no joke, most people will only cover the distance you did early in the morning or late in the evening. So for you to do it throughout the day is already a big feat. But do it WITH ALL THE FILMING GEAR and with a small foldable bike, that’s just insane. I don’t think most people would be able to imagine how hard this video must’ve been to make. What’s more, you were having pains in your knee. Huge, huge respect to you and your wife.

Great editing Ghib👏👏👏👏
Hard work pays. The verdict is in the viewership. Creeping up for sure.
Amazing video ! great effort and keep it up bro !! I did this once with a bicycle too ! super fun but tiring ! cant wait to do it again .
You worked very hard to make this video thank you so much ! Do take good care of your knee !
Wow! Not many have cycled around Singapore. You made it seems interesting and not forgetting the food.
I love videos like this! Singapore is indeed relatively smaller than most countries, but you always find fun things to do and that's one of the things I like about your channel. I also died when you said "hurt ah" before eating the ice cream 🤣 Also, I think it's ok to talk about WWII than to not talk about. History are facts, it happened and that's it. The best we can do is to learn from it!
You are amazing bro. Good job. Well done.👍👍
I'm happy to learn more about Singapore from this vid
Great video!
Oh my word!!! You did a Round The Island trip on a Carry me bicycle?!?!? I used to ride that bicycle and did up to about 40km but I would not have considered an RTI!!! Kudos!!!!
Give you a double like 👍👍 for this video coz you've worked hard for this! Your whole video, esp the part showing beautiful Katong, I thought you are doing this for the Spore Tourism Board, lol😅😇. Like the chill music and some comic (hilarious) content that you put in ❤️. The Lim Chu Kang area is actually the last countryside of SG. Will be gone in future 😩. There's one beautiful place that you could have missed out, and that's the Raffles Lighthouse at the end of Tuas. The sunset there should be awesome. Thanks for your hard work Ghib San coz never saw so many areas of SG before. And not forgetting the food (makan), as usual make me hungry 🙉🥴!!

Yes I wanted to visit the Lighthouse but it was too out of the way.. hopefully next time. Thanks Poof!
Congrats your finishing line at Changi... U have done it! Though there is heat becoz this is SG but it is manageable to cycle round the island with proper planning. Thkz for Yr video....
This was very helpful! Thank you Ghib.!😄
17:20 i passed by that place a lot because of school camps, it’s very nice to go there because it really feels like a country side, like you’re not in singapore anymore
5 stars for this interesting video. Really enjoyed it
I grew up in Lim Chu Kang. Used to be a village with farmers. Nice video, Ghib! Hope your knees are fine!
This is so well-produced! Reminds me of your previous bike trip around Hokkaido a long long time ago (pre-pandemic) and is something that I've wanted to do in SG too. I had no idea there were farms in SG! Please take care of your knee! I hope you had been training for this. People who run marathons / do long bike rides without training could complete it, but they'd have lots of long-term knee-related injuries. I hope you take time to make sure that there's nothing too serious!

Kids in primary schools usually have excusion organised to go to different farms in Sg.
That bike is the problem. It's for getting you from the subway station or parking lot to your office. It's not a touring bike, you will exert 10 times more energy than you would on a standard touring bike with gears and larger tires...
really enjoyed this video!

Awesome Ghib san!! Take care of that knee of yours!

Bro, a better will help.. 😂😂😂 That one tiny bike! Good video! 👍😁
glorious! fantastic! amazing!
hahaha the hot bench make me laugh out loud in the midnight LOL
Thank you so much Ghib-san. I enjoyed this video. I wish i was younger and healthier to cycle around Spore. Domo arigato. Emm...let the doc take a look at your knee ah...
Thanks for making this video, I know that you have explored more of my birth place than I ever had. It's the heat ... I can't stand the heat 😛😝

Thumb up!! nice video!! always make me want to explore singapore more again. i think u using a wrong bicycle as carry me bicycle is for short distance cycling (the wheel sooo small). Glad u cheat abit, which using the carry me advantage... which is CARRY ME on the bus... lol
We don't have alligators. They're just crocodiles, they're friendly. They're also very rare, I've been to Sungei Buloh a lot and I've only seen one. Probably going round island again this weekend lol. But the other way round because we will be on the road a lot and we want to reduce right turns. And at night because my friends can't take the heat either. I am unnaturally adapted to the weather here. I still remember when I went to Osaka in the summer, my parents were complaining about the heat but I was really happy because for the first time ever I wasn't cold throughout the trip. Although, that was actually hotter than here. I cycle through Kranji a lot, trucks don't bother me much, I have very good hearing so I can hear them coming, plus my amygdala doesn't work properly and I have a very low fear response. I like to draft behind them once they pass because they block the air very well.
Thanks for such a wonderful video! I really enjoyed it and you are so funny. I love the way you introduce the glorious food along the way and I'm so inspired to ride around Singapore like you. I feel sorry for your butt and your knee. I experience the same thing too. I just changed my saddle to a big fat cushion seat by myself DIY and it works great for me, but I don't know what to do with my knee myself. I can't imagine cycling around Singapore in this mid day hot sun, so usually I cycle from 5 am to 8 am and then 4 pm to night. Amazing you both! 👍👍👍
A piece of advice: Immediately convert Kris + miles to Krisflyer miles. Krisflyer miles are worth a lot more than Kris Pay miles.
I love long videos!!!
Amazing ❤️
Before COVID, I always attended the Seiransai festival from waseda shibuya high school every year with my friends. My favourite yearly festival to go with my friends other than Natsumatsuri which is at the primary school ☺️
Pls take care of your knees. Rest well. Enjoyed this video tremendously ~
i saw you and your mate cycling around that day. ride safe bro
Hat off to you Dude...👍👍👍

Naked Uncle... Why ah...? LOL that was so funny... you've more than earned your PR. Awesome video!
お疲れさまでした👏膝お大事に!✨
Did Ghib's wife also cycle with him around Singapore? :o It seemed like she was the videographer at various parts of the video.
Hey Ghib Ojisan, thanks man for the SurfShark promo code. You made my day! Absolutely a good deal there. And btw, i love cycling too!
Yup, that Lim Chu Kang Road was headed to Sungei Gedong Camp. You would have passed by the side road that leads far inside to the camp gate.
Hi Ojisan ! May I ask where did you bought your foldable bike looks quite cool 😂🤣
I need to get that bicycle !!:)) So can take bus or cab if tired !:))
Respect to you cause I done the same recently, but with skates
🤣👍Well done ghib the title I at first thought it was yishun
Reminds me of me cycling to work here in Japan even if its Summer haha
@9:45 Thian Hock Keng Temple is not located at Chinatown.
Piece of advice: drink more water throughout the ride and if possible bring some small snacks like banana so u can supplement yourself with some energy throughout cause tbh once u get heat cramps ur not far away from heat exhaustion and heatstroke
Have you visited Jurong Bird Park ? You should definitely visit Jurong Bird Park !
watching this Jan 2024 - so a bit late - but it was great fun.

Hi Ghib, how about bringing us to famous haunted places in Singapore?
There is another Japanese school at Changi too
Wow, what an effort to cycle under the hot sun to showcase the beautiful side of Singapore. Ummh, looks like the CarryMe bike is giving you some trouble.
Carryme's wheels are too small for long distance cycling trip. Calculating †he circumference of the wheels, how many turns does it need to traverse 1 km, compared to a 20 inch or 29 inch wheels? Also, the wheels will wear out faster, does not make economic sense.
I have done all the cycling around singapore many times over. Heat is your biggest enemy!
The area around Lim Chu Kang Road you are at is where most of our NS boys and Men "hangout". We spend our time there bashing around that forest area and I bet you passed by one fence up mini "HDB Town" rite...dont know if you ever wonder why along that Lim Chu Kang Road you will see few big red signs says PROTECT AREA...🤣
Take care of your knees. Get it checked early. The bike maybe too small for such a long trip.
What bicycle is that ? So small
Its a great way of doing a foodie tour but id cycle overnight and get a bike with normal wheels. This looks like hard work.
I thought bro was going to yishun
Dude i cant even walk 1 m and my bicycle is faulty so THAT IS AMAZING
Great video. The bike doesn't suit you... The wheels are small.. and the height of the saddle maybe to high for you.. causing your knee pain. Could have split this video into two parts. Just my two cents. Gambadei.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You'll need to get your own little bike now! 😂
Have you considered trying acupuncture? I have had pain in my knees due to constant running but my condition improved tremendously after a few sessions of acupuncture. Recommend going to Yi Xin @ Beauty World
Feel so cheated!! Gong cha is $3.2 in Singapore?! Same one here is $5.5! But I usually buy regular size with toppings so always at least $7-8 😭
Next video: Cycling to Scotland
これは一番素晴らしいビデオですね~ ありがとうございました。では、頑張ってよ。
