Im rebuilding a similar engine but 125cc and for some reason when i start tightening screws, the pulleys for the clutch become crazy tight.
Is it possible to remove crankshaft without messing with gears?
Is this a dry or wet oil sump?
Believe the selector has just gone on my yx140, does the selector shaft come out without engine split?

Yeah you should be able to change it without splitting cases
What's the copper washer for?

It acts as an oil seal. Without it you’ll most likely have an oil leak from the top of the head where it’s suppose to be
