When the commentator said “Ronnie O’Sulivan” at 5:30 it is a familiar sound to us all as snooker fans, but this is the first time. It rolled off his tongue like he was already the GOAT.

It was plain to see back then where Ronnie was heading but nobody could have guessed how far his achievements would go. Amazing to think after three and a half decades he is still at the top. We have definitely lived through the greatest era of snooker, I can’t imagine anyone coming close to what he has achieved in our lifetimes, love him or hate him you cannot fault his talent.

Without question, perhaps the finest snooker player of all time!!! Besides his obvious talents also on display was his poise, confidence and when asked if he was nervous playing on television, without hesitation he replied, "No."

Great too to see his father, who got him into the game in the first place, and who was clearly really proud of his son. What a pity he had his later problems. So unlucky.
