Brigitte Nichols we went through this with our neighbours kind of. The mom has borderline personality disorder and got incredibly scared we’d threaten their safety, so she drilled a hole in the wall between us and placed a microphone. I kinda believe he was confused because he was grabbing it with his bare hands, anyone using lye intentionally would wear gloves, if your palms get even a tiny bit sweaty the moisture with the lye would cause severe chemical burns. Sadly the man is just an idiot and can't read labels, he shouldn't be sticking his bare hands into sugar either, but especially not into a bucket of chemicals that react to water. If he was intending to hurt people, he would still have taken precautions to protect himself.
