I know in Japan they got Ultra Paradise last year or so and they still have Cuba Lima, which got discontinued here in the US years ago. They also have some cool exclusive Red Bull flavors too, but I think Australia and the UK do as well.

I was born in Japan on a Navy vessel and hold dual citizenship for Japan and America. I plan on retiring in the next 10-15 years in Japan. I love all Asian food and Indian foods and was wondering if you think as the food person that I am would it be worth retiring in Japan? I love your videos and I wholeheartedly trust your opinion! I've always wanted to retire overseas and would love to live in my technical birthplace in my later years :-). Also my partner and I think your videos are so cute the way you guys interact with each other! There is so much love there even though there are very few words in you guys's videos 😇!!! Also for the last 23 years I have been studying Japanese, Chinese, Cantonese, and plan on studying the Indian dialects too! So I feel my transition would be fairly easy 🤘😇! As a retired military member with my background, I have actually lived in Japan for 6 years and I love and miss it soo much!!! Your thoughts please:-). PS. My partner wants to retire in Germany, but I told him Japan would be vastly better for what we like and the culture we would love to immerse ourselves in.

It depends on your retirement/pension plan, the transitional period/processes to migrate to a different country. The ability to learn a different language and the ability to assimilate to your retirement country. Especially living in one country and retiring in another. This is coming from a holistic point of view. Without knowing your ethnicitic background and your awareness of the current racial discriminations in the potential countries.

I'm not sure if Singapore is the same as Japan in that regard but Japan packages things in a similar way and they get away with it because not only they sort trash but also they use very high tech trash burning facilities. They make pretty much 0 harmful emissions to the point where you see these trash burning places literally near housing districts. I've been there and seen them and air is very clear there, clearer than in Poland where I'm from.

My german heart bleeds seeing me having four different trash cans for recycling, trying to minimise waste or go and buy at all these new "unpacked" supermarkets where you have to bring your own packaging, while chinese companys sell grilled corn by wrapping every corn in thick plastic...

Yeah i feel like lots of asian products are WAYYY too «well» packaged, they could be a bit less wasteful by using more paper based packaging

Four different trash cans? Japan has 15. :P And they burn their trash in high tech facilities that make no emissions. I'm not sure if Singapore also does this however but I'd guess they at least have something similar.

@@Jhud69 having no emissions when burning trash sounds nearly impossible to me. Even though if japan has these burning facilities, there is still tons of plastic being produced and wasting natural resources in china where this food comes from. And also trash burning facilities operating at - maybe - 1000°C to burn all the toxic fumes of waste will need huge amounts of energy to work. So in the end it still is a huge waste of materials...

@@craddocraddoc the fumes are diluted back into water and then filtered. The filtered waste then can be dumped into the soil as normal carbon waste instead of circulating in the air.
