At number 11, it's not the whole of Andromeda availible, only the Helios Cluster, because you don't have the Mass Relays which were build by the Reapers in the Milky Way. So whithout them, you cannot travel between clusters (galaxies are made of clusters), because they are very very far apart from each other, so they're focusing only on the livable planets in the Helios Cluster, they have to stay within travel range of the Nexus. So we will play in only a small part of the Andromeda Galaxy.

Paul Giurgi I didnt buy anything for Mass effect 3 (apart from Javik) Andromeda would have to pull me in like Mass Effect 1 did. Get me pumped like Mass Effect 2 just not fuck me over like Mass Effect 3. its been accidently confirmed as a trilogy so we shall see.

This game is gorgeous and I am proud to say that I will invest many many hours into it. I respect everyone's opinions as thats what we should all do, as we are the consumers.

You don't actually have the entire galaxy to explore. Only the Helius cluster. Just saying.

The "galaxy map" is actually a cluster map, not an entire galaxy. Heleus cluster is just a tiny part of the Andromeda galaxy.

I really don't get how people are saying this game is ugly. If Ubisoft was publishing this game they would have tarted it up in previews and made it look beautiful then downgrade it to hell on release. Say what you will about EA, they don't downgrade their games very often because they run on Frostbite. If you look at this game in comparison to Dragon Age Inquisition it looks like an incredible improvement.

It's nice to see they've polished the animations. It actually looks beautiful!

An issue I have is the model is the SR-2 not the SR-1. I get that the SR-2 is arguably the better Normandy (being size, firepower, etc.) but Mass Effect 2 hadn't even really started aside from the SR-1 being blown into confetti. So how did these model makers create a ship that hadn't even been made yet?

Another must have game for me this year. Usually only a couple of those a year and I rent everything else but this year there has been four announced (as long as RDR2 does come out this year) that are pre-order or day one purchases.

so this video is essentially implying you play the game as you should ... 'Introducing yourself to [X]' is not something you Want to do, it's something you Have to do. What is the point of this video?

And Origin Access is currently free for 7 days by the way. Go check it out. Download the game on Thursday (or earlier if you're not in the EU). Play 10 hours (limited to 1st planet though), see if you like it. Then pre-order if you want for a 10% discount. Cancel Origin Access and have fun with the game. Oooor the game might just be total garbage and you've lost nothing. At all. That's how I'm gonna do it. 10 hours should be enough to decide whether the overall gameplay and story telling ist worth my time and money. I hope.

fun fact: a federation starship would have to travel at warp 9.95 TNG scale to get to the Andromeda galaxy in the same amount of time that it took the expedition ships. Just proof that the Mass Effect ships using their own drives are only as fast as Star Trek ships but that's still not slow by any definition.

LostSparten071 some famous youtuber name mklafire ice forgot his full user name called got the game early and cora face animations and along with the others are seen smiling in nearly every seen even during the battle in the final part of the first part of the game. I will just ask the characters in the game why are yall smiling during a shootout this is dangerous, i'm scared shitless.

There is a first day patch which is also going to fix those animations and add more customizable features and offer different tones of hair. Pretty much what we are seeing is an older build. The videos that I have watched from those who have gotten early access state this and Bioware addressed what the patch will fix.

DA games are good is just the combat is dull at best and i wish the the next near future games follows games like Dragon age and dark souls for combat advice or The upcoming Shadow of War game.

Am I the only one that noticed that Tempest exterior doesn't match the Tempest interior. Interior is much larger then it should be based on external dimensions.

Toast &Cereal To be fair, Andromeda is twice the size of the Milky Way so I highly believe they couldn't of made systems like they could in ME1-3.

Wait, how did you get that view if the Nexus on the Tempest without taking off into space?

Is that what they did? They pushed "Randomize" and went "Oh lets use that as one of the support character". Hope i can go as far as removing my eyes, nose, mouth n shit to look like Slenderman, that way i won't need to worry about the facial expressions

With just a few patches expanding on the main premise and maybe a DLC with some additional story content, it could have been a great game. But sadly, the devs just abandoned it due to some nitpicking fans.
