Admittedly, as a baskeball player I don't know much about football, but I remember watching him with Ajax and not really seeing what he could do. Having said that, I know a playmaker when I see one. This video makes me appreciate his skill so much more than I did when he was with Ajax. As a fellow playmaker, his passes are (in my eyes) phenomenal. The way he sees the pitch... His level of anticipation... Is spot on. To me, the best playmakers always give their teammates the ball in positions where they can either be successful themselves or further advance the ball. Ziyech does both very well.

I think him and Grealish are very similar. It's just Grealish got an unfair price tag slapped on him bc he was at a PL club, they knew he was City's main target, and he's a good player for England. it's really unfair people judge him by price tag so much. he had no choice about it.

He is a kind of player that needs love and be considered a hero by fans and teammates. Similar to Coutinho's mentality. Both Ziyech and Coutinho missed the Ajax and Liverpool vibes at New clubs. If Chelsea fans get behind Ziyech then he will rock the prem like hazard did.

They would woo his goals, throw bottles at him, etc... Despite all that he shone and became the top scorer of Dutch league, being able to win Golden boot.

In that 4-2-2-2 or 4-3-3 type of formation there’s no denying he’s world class, it’s comfortable playing there for his playstyle and his passing and shooting abilities work well when an overlap is created, wizard 💙
He's not a player foot ball, but he's a architect who paints and creates arts in stadium. That's why he is one of the best player in the world who passes ball.
I won't lie, Haaland would love to be running behind for these Ziyech passes But no regrets now, Lukaku and the rest of the attack have to get in tune with him, has the quality to unlock any defense with a single pass

I think Hakim miss the Ajax's wingers alot, Chelsea doesnt have winger like Promes or Neres who understand him very well. I see him often wanna pass the pall for the left wing but there is no one there running down, what a shame :(

@@phuckhanhtran5660 Is true, I can see Werner read Hakim pass, but only his finishing is too bad. Hope Tuchel give Lukaku rest for long period, and try the formation 4-2-3-1 with Werner(Left) - Mount(Middle) - Ziyech (Right) - Kai (ST).

Well many fans are just children reacting to games without context or repeating what they're hearing. How much did he play really since Tuchel arrived? And how many times was he used in his natural position during the rare times he started or played at the last 15 min of the game? Most fans unfortunately just go along with the convenient feel better narrative. I was hoping he moves on to another team instead of sitting on the bench and wasting his prime years.
