Considering the fact that Zvezda’s 747-8 kit had decals for the stripe pattern, I don’t know why this kit doesn’t come with it. It’s challenging but it was fun! Good luck with your build!

Really beautiful work, particularly considering you’re using rattle cans. Others have noted the stripe scheme, but I also love the stippling on the back of the engine.

Nice work! When you paint the fuselage, how do you let it dry? Do you hang it from somewhere? How do you prevent the paint on the fuselage from smearing?

Bravo! Spectacular work. I struggled to paint that scheme on my 737 max and wound up using decals, which were very disappointing. I have a DreamLiner in the stash too, and will follow your lead. Would you tell us how you managed to cut perfectly even and parallel strips of tape for the fuselage pinstripes?

Thanks for your comment! I used a mask tape that was already cut in 1mm by the manufacture. I initially tried to cut in 1mm myself, too but it didn't work out. hehe Good luck on your build!

Thanks. Are you talking about what I am doing at 1:40 in the video? If so, I am actually using wood glue to mask windows. I am removing them after painting was done at round 15:18 in the video. I hope I am answering your question!

@@timothywegrzyn4225 I sand it down. Depending on the putty that I use, but I normally leave the lacquer putty (I use lacquer putty a lot only because it's easier to sand) for a couple of days to let it shrink before sanding it. Thanks!

Love the new animation in this video! You must be a very patient and detailed person! I would have gone completely crazy working on and painting the Dreamliner designs on the fuslage! And at 1:39, I am using glue to mask windows before painting. I’ve seen a lot of people use craft-tapes to mask windows, but for me, using glue is much easier.

I like your builds. You’re very skilled! However, why do you constantly keep crediting yourself with a sharp sound byte and flashing your name? It’s distracting and ruins very good footage.
