The deceiving silence of Brushless power can can get you into trouble real quick. And loud noisy engines are great mental governors

The first two are from brazilian Chevrolet Opala engines. It's a 4.1Liter line-6 (a brazilian version from american Chevrolet Stovebolt), which produces in stock version 148 hp and 310 Nm of torque. In those turbo versions (second go-kart), it reaches easily 300 hp and 500 Nm of torque. I think it's enough to a go-kart. 😄 Ps.: The same engine was used in that blue Chevrolet Omega at 3:11... Yes, a brazilian version from Opel Omega. But in this version, that 4.1 had electronic fuel injection and other improvments made by Lotus to reach 168 hp in gasoline version, (Opala was 148 hp in ethanol, and 121 hp in gasoline).

+carl shneebly Gokarts generally are, and that's before you slip big engines in them. Put a 250cc 2-stroke MX bike motor in a kart, and it becomes frighteningly quick. Put a litre class sports bike motor in, and you need to stretch the wheelbase a bit, but it will do Ferraris and Lamborghinis, at least as long as the surface is smooth. Any bigger engine than that, and it just becomes something evil, because a hundred + hp in a vehicle designed for 30 is more than enough... Dropping a 4 litre car engine in one is a bit like loading a 4 tonne diesel out of a locomotive into your Mustang - silly.

I don't know ... a go kart with half the power and a tenth of the weight was just a bit faster. I think the Porsche actually performed pretty well, considering the performance numbers.

Stryke go kart can't get traction its spinning those tiny tires the whole race if it got traction it would of taken off on the Porsche

that shook ncontrolably @ 60mph+ it sucked & the engine was 2" or 3" too far forward & it could of been a easy fix but they cheaped out & didnt do it it was undrivable i sold it for a 1k...they suck

So this kind of fits in with these quads and karts, on my way home today I was pumping gas when a smart car pulled in next to me, on the window it said turbo'd busa inside. After talking with the owner for a bit he took me for a ride in it, scariest damn thing I've ever been in. At the slightest touch of the throttle it wheelies, and he said if it's even slightly damp outside he has no 1-3rd as it just lights up the tires. He also said it did a 10.xx in the 1/4....it sorta made me have some respect for smart cars....sorta

The 13 hp go-kart isnt so turbo, i have a honda gx390 and it has a turbo too, i have 36 hp

Derp Brony ATV is the workhorse, quads or Quadbikes are the fast street ATVs, Those are all Quads.

That turbo 13 horse power one isn't all that impressive, I could build an N/A one with more than that
