Actually, it sort of has a meaning in English, and that may have inspired them. "Bonk" is older urban slang for "knocking boots."

When I played football at school, I was always left back. Left back in the changing-room.

"One previous owner" did not get ONE laugh. That was gold.

A bit like Alan's story. In the States with friends many years ago. Had a big night on the drink, one mate was the last one in, about half an hour later we heard a weird thumping sound. When we went to check, he was trying to turn the lamp off on the bedside table with his shoe. The next hit he broke the globe, threw the shoe on the floor and said "There must be an easier way to turn that off" This man was and is an electrician.

But she wasn't right about the hands down the trousers, that's allowed but it isn't the goal of the whole thing. I think they actually had this on QI many years ago, the rules say you can reach inside the trousers but you're not allowed to grab the genitals or 'invade' the anus.

in the high plains, ive heard it either way. personally i use "castle" but there are so many styles of them now that "house" has become more common

I saw a woman do sadly unwomanly things, once. It was the best afternoon of my life. I had to teach Western culture in a school in China, and I remember that basketball was invented by Michael Nesmith, who was the one in the Monkees that always wore a hat. I think that my class came away from that lesson, suitably enlightened.

The problem with the first 5 minutes is the assumption that profoundness and bullshit are mutually exclusive. I think if you venn-diagrammed that, there would be just one circle, because we are all one..

Its actually Bob Stanford-Tuck. He was a Wing Commander by the end of the War, and had about 33 kills to his name. He lead the Duxford Wing on some missions. He was shot down in France, whilst on a 'Rubarb' mission. He became a good friend of Adolf Galland.

Just to clarify Francis comment, it is a swastika because it denotes the number of Nazi planes he has shot down, if he would have shot down lets say a Japanese plane, they would have marked it with the Japanese flag. So, this pilot is exactly the opposite from a Nazi since he literally fought them.

Kabadi is an Indian game, it's literally written everywhere. Period. Though I've never seen it played in loin cloths XD

we have those pan-pipe buskers in canada too, and they are the worst honestly. I am a busker and they are the rudest motherfuckers around. They play with amplified backing tracks which they crank up so loud that other buskers have to go 2 - 3 blocks away. if you ask them to even turn down the bass they pretend not to speak english or just ignore you. When i busked downtown, every other busker I knew had a story about them. We all knew each other, put a buck or two in each others cases, jammed, smoked each other out, etc., and we all disliked them.

Ironically, a dry man CAN be wet, but only, and hear me out, if they are wearing a WET suit! Boom!

That is not a vuvuzela.

Roasted? she wasn't roasted, they just made very in place remarks about how strange it is for her to watch on youtube half naked Turkish men groping each other. But either way, don't feel bad for her, they all laugh and make fun at each other, it's their job and they laugh with her, not at her.

Why do they leave Holly hanging like this. It is easy to check. I remember seeing Turkish Oil Wrestling on tv and film several times when I was young. I even thing John Noakes did it on Blue Peter.
