Heya. Thinking about this as well after the amazing service of my Acedeck Stella S3 for my wife. Made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars on a Tynee and regretted it ever since. How is the Ares? Any regrets?

Hey, a little hello from France. I wish I had seen this review before buying mine. I'm having the issue with the deck touching the motors with the rubber wheels.. The paint is gone on one of the motors and the deck is damaged too... Only 4 days after receiving it. Acedek is offering me new belts and a discount on parts to "apologize".. I was hoping for a better after sales service. Don't really know what to do.

You can disengage the front motors and reprogram the ESC to run it as 2WD

It’s only 25a per motor and 8” tires standard, even on the smaller rubber wheels 50a is gonna be pretty damn weak

Hello. I want to buy an acedeck x1 4wd board. If I want to turn off the engines from 4wd to 2wd, just click the change in the remote control? is there anything else to do? is it a quick procedure?

Great review and the board seems amazing. I would go with 2WD though. One other thing about vibrations of a stiff deck, most of the boards you have built have a non flexy battery pack and enclosure. Surely they are also stiff? Cheers

Thanks! Yes this is true that most builds we have done use a stiff battery and enclosure. Even then, the decks absorb considerably more than a carbon fiber deck does and they do still flex a little.

Great footage and many fair assessments. Saying the board is 14000watts is like when some supercars say they are 1000HP but you're stuck in the same traffic as everyone else at 40kph, haha

Great review! Can I ask what camera you are using when filming yourself? It doesn't look like it's a insta360 flat video, but how to make sure you're properly focused and not filming yourself out of frame?

I am using the GoPro Hero 10. I set it to wide, point it at the board, and basically hope it captures the board. It autofocuses very well so never need to worry about that. The framing is tricky, but wide helps with that. I also look at the screen on the front every couple seconds to make sure its generally correct. We also film each other riding with the go pro and the Canon 90d

Can the front motors be turned off or is it always 4WD?

Great. Honest review. Looks boss. However disconnections and 3amp charger @ $2400. Nah bruv!

Can you turn 4wd off to save battery when needed?

Thanks! We usually wear our rurocs, though they are not the best full face helmets as the chin piece is known to fail in certain crash scenarios

Hey guy, I have the demon 2.0 and the battery stopped working. What should I do? Can I send to your to have a look?

Another user on esk8Unity channel reported this board shutting off while on low battery (not 100% depleted) and even wheel jamming once, also happened to esk8Unity . Has anything like that happen to you ?

This thing is probably running 25 amps per motor and is nowhere near 14k watts lol. More realistically MAYBE 4K watts
