Haha. Todd is a good friend so he makes everyone feel comfortable. 😉 Now, this was at a birthday celebration for Vinnie Paul’s girlfriend and also my buddy Christian Brady of Hell Yeah. The people in attendance is what would have made me nervous. Lots of rock n roll royalty in that room. I think Todd mentions Vinnie at the end? I felt small. 😂

@@finlayjones8007 I have been G&R fan since the early 80s when they started, but Axl simply can not really sing. And over the years his voice got worse and worse. Is a reality that can not be denied, unless you are tone-deaf! :-) Doesn;t make me like the band any less tho, that is up to the Use Your Illusion albums. After them I snapped off.

This must have been an unbelievable experience for you at that age! All those in the room with you, wow. You kicked their asses! Great job!

That's the amazing part too Lee. He's just like yeah I know this one, no pressure. That's a gift. I like most when the legends now and give him credit for not only nailing shit but how humble he is. Kid you make us all wish we were you again

At 13 years old to play this song, with the intro delay, perfectly... MAN!!! I was 9 when I realized I really wanted to play guitar. It wasn't until 15 I actually got a REAL guitar. Slash was the reason I wanted to play. The emotion... The anger, the sadness, how you're feeling that day. I've been playing now for 25 years. Yup, for every mood you have, you can pick up and guitar and express your feelings. My favorite Slash solo to play to this day is "14 Years". I like how he starts low, kinda like having a gorilla's arms swinging and towards the end of the solo a blade chops your head off...

It’s not really a cover when you are playing on stage with the guy (dammit) who is in slash’s band. And also the only guy who is slash approved to sing this song other than AXL. I always love to think of the conversation between Slash and Myles “ yes Myles you’re an unreal vocalist, but I think we are going to give the mic to Todd when we play Jungle” ....You are amazing man... age means nothing when you have the ability and feel that you have..... big things coming for you bro......

Stratton James of course man, I watched them all....You are multi talented and have an awesome voice. But there are frontmen out there who’s playing gets lost or not acknowledged.. like Adam Levine... watch his performance of purple rain. Or for that matter, the general public has no idea what a brilliant guitarist Prince was..... watch him do while my guitar gently weeps. Point I am making is that you are brilliant but it’s a tough business to get acknowledged for your amazing talent in both areas. Either way, I’m quite certain you WILL make it....

I went to see GNR in London 2017 on the Not in this Lifetime tour , and they were bloody amazing, Axl's voice was incredible, nearly 3 hour show , have you seen them live ? if so when ? your guitar tone is nice.

I saw them twice. Once in New Orleans and once in Charlotte. I was lucky enough to be a special guest of Slash’s at the Charlotte show. I felt like a VIP. A once in a lifetime experience and I am so humbled. Thank you about the tone! 🙏🏼

@@strattonjames4066 There;s a great concert GNR did in Paris in the 90's , had Kravitz as special guest, Gilby was in band back then , brass section, female backing vocals , Teddy on harmonica ( Bad Obsession ) , look it up , it was televised here in UK .

@@strattonjames4066 , Sorry man, but the area was too familiar. I have been all over the lower 48 states, and to 10 plus other countries. There are nat any other areas I know of that favors this area. FWIW, my parents and other family lived there. It was bugging me, bad. I knew what to look for. "NO" - "Gert Town" a/k/a " Jazz City USA"! You couldn't have been in a better place! Xavier, Zoo, Tchoupitoulas, I would love to see how many people can pronounce Tchoupitoulas correctly? I worked at a business on this street. LOL My family built many houses and other structures in that area, pre 1950's. Most of them has been rebuilt recently. I slowed the other video down very slowly to pick up on some things, then it was easy from there! I have seen situations there that will never forget. You can probably state the same. Lee Circle, was a good hangout during certain times. LOL Take Care, Dennis "Keep Rockn" Looking forward to more videos.
