Having many friends who have not wrestled, is there a way to improve knowledge as a spectator - which is actually quite tough to do. One good thing about your channel is that you get a clearer view of the action. Unfortunately, with most coverage on Flo, BTN, or ESPN, it’s still difficult for a noob to see the nuances of how a shot/fake is set up, what choices are going through a wrestler’s head, what a certain move is designed to unbalance or fatigue the opponent (or how it’s affecting them) - like in this video when red is keeping green from getting to his base with his legs and hips - what is green feeling or trying to do? Do you have any recommendations of channels or sites that might teach this to a non-wrestler? Or I know you sometimes put interesting setups and moves in slow motion… would you be willing to do an occasional video in slow motion where you can help us learn more from the perspective of each wrestler what is going on? Would be an interesting way to get into the mindset of the wrestlers and how they’re experiencing or strategizing the match. Thanks for hearing my idea!

Thank you for the feedback! A few months ago I received a suggestion for training related content, so I asked one of the local club coaches whether he would be interested in having me film some move breakdowns at his club, and he said it was something he had been giving thought to but hadn't ultimately come to a conclusion on yet, so it hasn't come to fruition yet. That being said, have you heard of DPS Breakdowns? That is probably the best channel that I am aware of which takes viewers step-by-step through the mechanics of each move. @@MidwestWrestle If you do end up doing this, that would be really interesting. I think wrestling could be a lot more popular if it were easier for non-wrestlers to understand, so training videos are great but maybe also explaining it on a more novice level for fans. Thanks for the channel suggestion, I’m checking them out!

@@kxradio I see your point about move breakdowns not necessarily being the best way to help those who are unfamiliar with wrestling. To do what you're proposing and to do it well would be quite an undertaking, as it would require scheduling interviews with the wrestlers so that they can walk us through what they were thinking as they watch their own match videos and then curating their edited talk tracks into a final publishable format. It's a great idea, it's just that it would require more spare time than I have available given my other obligations, unfortunately.

Hiy I am conner day but I yeuss my dad account eny way I see how you could do this without extra time if the wrestler would have friends that would yous their iPhone to do the video that would be sent to you and then you would edit without any problem. I also am catching up on your videos because I do excsersies because I want to hold figurative myself accountable. Also just curious about what your name is because you do film sometimes in the southwest like in Arizona then coming back in Oklahoma because I sall the resent video was about a wrestler in the Katy area so I thought if you put your name on the site with mid-west on the channel it would be Less confusing for me sense you do go outside of Indiana, Illinois Ohio, Pennsylvania, NY so that would not be such a bad idea. I also thank you for the interview you sometimes do especially about Kegan Roberson so it would be interesting yo do one about his younger brother and sense I would want the wrestler to explain their own reasons why they do the moves they do if they want to that could be sent to you by their channel then you can just like flow grappling has different channels related to it by their follows then you could get so much more done than you could ever imagine. I also no that you have gotten vary detald comments and this is no exception for you I am sure. A nother thing I like is what you did one year ago when you livedstrem triangle wrestling I thank you could have one of the wrestlers that is for that do the filming for you until it is his or her turn then it is pass the camera to team mate around the rosey until he or her is done with there fight then like the international Brazil jujitsu federation it cold go on for like 4 hour or 6 because the Ibf goes on way to long but I believe if the wrestler 🎥 the things themselves that would make wrestling profitable especially when it is one of the tips of mma I mean Ben ascren you no the guy in the ufc that was traded for sage Northcutt that is what I mean wrestling is just one way of getting in to mma so that is something to thanking about. Now the last name of Ben I am talking about I do have the ufc 4 game it just that it is 9:42 and I go to bed now at 10:00 so yah that is why it is Wong so I hope you understand but just consider that or all 5 idea I came up with I also am from Warner robins GA .
