As artists through time will tell you , nothing is ever good enough , that’s why we carry on to reach perfection .
Thank You for this video. You truly are amazing.
Labradorite is my favorite stone (I even have it in my engagement ring) and it is STARTLING how much these look like the real thing! The only tiny suggestion, if I might make one, is to mix some of the nail powder into the clear UV resin as well. The “flash” in labradorite goes all the way through the stone so it might add just one extra dash of magic! Still, absolutely gorgeous and if you hadn’t told me they were resin I’d have never known!

I would also try to use a needle to create "scratches" with the greyish resin from the first layer, once you've added the clear resin in the middle. You've gotten an amazing result but the real scratches are often thicker and more irregular. The real labradorites also often have dark splotches. But again, amazing result, probably the best fake labradorites I've seen so far (counting resins and paintings here)
Amazing tutorial ! I absolutely love Labradorite stones (my favorite stone) and I was so happy to finally find a video with realistic results, so I made some, right away after watching your video. I'm very glad of the results.Thank you !
Cool!! I use resin to cover jewelry pieces i make but have never used resin as the jewelry. Oh more crafting!!
We always look at our art with a critical eye where as others look at our work and say Wow because they can’t see how we made it! Love your work! I think you have cracked it!

Thanks Anna 😊 Yes, we can be our own worst critics
A small car vac easily sucks up excess powder. No left behind clumps without disturbing that which has been rubbed in. 1 second per cavity without even touching the mold and done!
Lovedbthem all but the last was the best. Everything in nature is not perfect...so when we try to repest it wr cannot expect perfection, but you come teally really close! 😂❤

you are one dedicated man Daniel. It is like you want to keep trying till you get ir right. lol. Nothing wrong with that. I am maybe one person in the world that doesn't know about Labradorite. So I will google it and learn more about it! Thanks for opening up my eyes to this stone. And yes the heart is my favorite one.

Thank you 😊 I'm very fussy 😂🤣
Labrador it's is also my favprite. But...I don't like depending my choice on either what is available or what I can afford. Being able to make my own choices in this stone is what's drawn me back to resin. Thanks, compadre. And well done.
I have got to get that mold! I just can’t wait to try this technique! Absolutely gorgeous! ❤❤❤
Man! Those turned out amazing! I'm very happy I found your channel! You have such great ideas. 💝

Thanks so much! 😊
This looks really great! I would add the black out of the mould, by painting on black UV nail gel.
I love the blue but not sure I like the scratching. I suppose you could even scratch in initials. That would be cool. A mixture of blue and purple would be nice.
Stunning labradorite ❤❤❤❤
Your blowing my wallet Daniel! Lol. Love your videos. ❤❤

I know exactly what you mean when you say that there’s just something about it that you can’t readily identify. I’ve made Stained Glass windows for Temples, Resorts, Basketball Stars and even a once popular TV Series (which they shattered.. of course :) And even tho the clients were happy, it was rare that I was completely satisfied with a piece. I also have symmetry issues😆 which really wasn’t helpful unless.. I was designing and creating a Frank Lloyd Wright piece.😂 Anyway, I think feeling that way is pretty normal.. maddening but, normal.😊 Your Labradorite is really beautiful Daniel.❤

Amazing work. I love labradorite and these are brilliant. I'll be trying this soon!
Time. 1:03 a.m. I love labradorite . I use it in jewelry making The one you liked the least, the first teardrop, was one of the better ones. The marks are quite prominent in the real stone. Labradorite also has pink, orange and gold added in small amounts to the blue colors. Yours are very good. I think they are beautiful. I'm very inspired to make them myself

Awesome work! My favorite stone and one I have wanted to recreate. The teat drop is my favorite.
These are the best faux labradorite stones I’ve ever seen! I was messing with those powders yesterday on a simple letter keychain, and thought how very similar it looked to moonstone or labradorite, so I had to look for a tutorial and came across yours- super happy I did! 😊 Definitely subscribed. Can’t wait to see more. These are absolutely incredible, love! 💘

Lovely work! I wouldn't worry no one can take their own work seriously, we're all our own worst critic. Have you tried a pokey tool or sturdy needle to scratch so you have more control of where you're putting them? Just a thought. Keep em coming!
Wow ❤

It’s nice to hear that other art makers are sometimes dissatisfied with their own art ..hearing so many online artist constantly marvel at the beauty of their own creations has had me wondering if something was wrong with me
Wow! Labradorites are my favorite stone and I think it would be very difficult to tell the difference between the real thing! Actually, I think the only difference would be that so many real stones have like one little good spot that you can only see if you hold at a certain angle and with yours the ENTIRE surface is iridescent and at any angle. LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!
Awesome job!!! Their gorgeous!!! I’ve been having to play around with some of it, I had it. Oops with the UV resin wrinkle on me it does give a cool fact. Thanks for sharing. It’s always a joy to watch a Videos!!!

Use a dremmel to make the scratches. With the incrave parts. Then you can make more natural lines. Without pressure. I think these look very beautyfull. My favorite stone.
Those are gorgeous!
Do you ever make any of the larger resin items? I would love to see you try to do a pyramid with your different techniques…. What do you think?

Lol, imagine how many small pendants I could make from the resin in a big pyramid, I made one once, never again after seeing how much resin they need 😂🤣

Will have to try this!
Omg love this effect and deffo want to try it,
Love this stone, they all look fab! A fine nib black sharpie pen should work to get some of the black lines, scratching is very effective however - don't go over the lines as you can lift or smudge the original ones away. Just watched a video using UV Clay, not rare what brand. I'm sure your viewers would be interested in you experimenting with it, perhaps Let's Resin might be interested in making their own uv clay? Looks good, you can roll it, shape it, push it into moulds, add ink, glitter & powder and it sets just like normal resin. 😊
