I just read the psalm and it speaks of THE LORD going to war for Israel and destroying the enemies of the faithful. Delivering the people of God into the promised land. It's literally a warchant if anything. Stop lying. The psalm literally talks about slain kings and great wonders (meaning plagues) falling on the enemies of God. It's definitely a military song.

@@Felisauras1014 yes i am, and i understand that the catholic church might have not had the best past with greed for example, and i have worded myself incorrectly what i meant by that is that protestantism has its roots in germany in 1517, quite a long time after the times of Christ, it lacks apostolic succesion and proper church fathers, its also filled with heresies like iconoclasm, denying the spiritual work that can be done by the saints and of course the faith alone aspect, i do not mean any hate but i do not necessarilly recommend it either, and also to be completely honest i've been thinking sometimes of also converting to orthodox which is why i need to do some more research on it

this isn't military. it's a praise for the lord. tells us to spread the gospel. translation (from the romanian orthodox bible) - Praise the Lord, because the Lord is good. Haliluia. Go read psalms 135 and you wil see that, YES, this is indeed a military chant. I dont know why so many mainstream so called christains dismiss all the wars in the bible and the fact that the messiah did not come to bring peace. Such an interesting little bunch christains have become.
