The part Krowbar says he was intentional about the music he was playing and also gave context by profiling an artiste is the truest thing I have heard all day. When I did my first song Shadow Madow , some djs were not agreeing on my music .. they called it “secular “ 😂 krowbar personally called me during the Ktn Tendereza show and asked me to break it down (I think I was on loudspeaker) I dug into the Bible verses the song was written on and he said , “thank you ,stop right there … are you near a TV? Tune into KTN right now ..” what followed was a 1 minute introduction of me on air and he proceeded to play that song TO THE END (dj shows didnt play songs to the end that time)and he later gave his generous comments on it live on air.. there and then my fate on the commercial space was sealed. Krowbar, incase I never gave you your flowers 💐💐

This man changed our lives as innocent persons... forever grateful

During 2012 through 2016 through the next few years when we said gospel had taken over the music industry, i think Krowbar played a huge role for bringing more artistes to light because he created need for more songs and did what he could do to bring more artistes on board.

The song by Willy Paul was ‘Rabuka’ … through tukuza shows, stars like S.O.C , Kriss Erroh, Masterpiece, Ephy young shined bright … and Krowbar might probably the first person to introduce Zambian artistes like Pompi & Magg44 to us,

I really like DJ Krowbar being proactive in how he selected the music that would be shown on TV...Yaani going to producers, asking producers to tell artists, to shoot videos, then still asking about the backstories of the artists... Woah...Almost like back announcing what he talked about in the previous videos ....What's so refreshing is his focus on playing more Kenyan music on Tukuza to build the Kenyan artists. 🤩 AMAZING. Talk about coupling up the skills of being a DJ and Music Production he learned at HomeBoyz...He used his ear to select great music and I am not surprised the music he selected from artists, must have turned their lives around in a BIG way.

Broadcast director, "i like this...i like this, lets look for this Dj." Everyone: okay okay okay.. (then someguy turns) That guy: Haiya!! he's here....!!!

One thing I am learning is, Krowbar pioneered everything we see gospel djs do and play today

Krowbar used to have interesting insights. And I could see wisdom and charisma in him. Tukuza was epic. Reminds me of Tichi Nyasani's Sunday radio show "soul food" in early 2001. Or the Joyce Wagituro Sunday show on Citizen radio back then.

Tukuza was my best show. I still need to see the return of Krowbar on Tv

I was like in Class 8 when Tukuza went live on TV. I didn't like going to church because it would mean I would miss these shows. Tukuza was my fave while Kubamba and Crossover were fillers every time Tukuza went for a commercial break🤣
