Same lmao I'm 13 and 5'8 so I can't really shoot well because I'm taller than I should be but my defense helps because I'm fast Strong and have a good vertical for play making lmao if I get taller I'm gonna dominate in paint but for now I can't dunk

taller than you should be? that applies only to freakishly tall players whose hands are too big to shoot the ball and they don't care to work on that, make no excuse to be unable to shoot at 5'8 when you're 13 years old, because you can say bye-bye to becoming a better player

I like the part where Coach tells you to just turn and run, don't slide. I was taught to always slide all the way to the rim to keep a wide profile, and I've been burned so many times that way. I always thought I wasn't sliding fast enough, but it makes perfect sense that no one can slide as fast another person who is running. Thanks for clearing things up, coach!

It is a foul but may not get called every time. Try having less distance between you and the player when hollowing out. It’s the space he feels from you that makes him feel comfortable taking an open shot.

Once I see you cross your feet I'm going the other way and even if you recover I'll change directions again keeping you off balance. It's a good technique but you need some really quick feet.
