I am amazed at how much it reminds me of when I would visit Puerto Rico with my parents! (Though, it is more dry.) How wonderful to have fresh fruit straight from the garden! I think city people forget where food comes from. We are so used to getting it pre-packaged from the store. There is something lovely about getting fresh, clean food, from its source.

I am in Chicago, and recently, our neighbors a few houses down got some chickens. I feel sorry for them because they are in a very small enclosure. I thought it was only 2 of them. But the last time I looked, I think there were 4 or 5. It's too small a space for them. And they don't get to wander around freely, like yours. I'm not even sure if it's legal to have chickens in the city. It will be interesting to see what happens with them. It's not the best neighborhood, so I hope people don't bother them.

I wish to meet you next time when I am in Ghana again. And to buy some dresses from your beautiful daughter. Maybe next year. My best wishes to all of you🌱❤️
