Got a kick out of the hand joke

Ran a t2 13 years ago and loved it. Didn’t push hard enough for the cost, was awesome but went to a solo x 12 and smashes expectations. It’s literally out the door, vehicle change, and am looking at Steve Meade for ideas. Great vid and wish the best.

Have an older t2 and man it's half the power and is impressive. The quality is amazing. Simply just beautiful. They keep improving every generation and this one is no exception. The t2 is everything in one package. May not be the best in any one category but at the end of the day won't let you down with abuse. Got lucky and landed mine for less than 10% of the cost of this in a custom box

The hand reference was hilarious! Especially since you just kept going.

About 15 years ago when I first got into car stereo, the big shit on the market was the JL 13-w7 and the Kicker Solo-Baric L7. i was always surprised by how powerful the 13w7 was even with minimal power put to it. The L7 was just stupid loud for no good reason.

I had one L7 12 in a 3 cubic ft box sealed on an spl1200.2 2ohm amp bridged. It probably only put out 700/800w maybe, but it definitely rocked that L7, I kept burning up the tinsel leads and fixing them, then I traded it for something lol now I run a single sundown x12v2 on a skv2.2500 at 1ohm with a mechman 370a elite and 2 yellow tops.. boy things have gotten bigger and better since them days 15 years ago.. I'm 35 and still loving the hobby, just kinda getting back into it the past couple years.. we never had big alternators back then, we'll I didnt.. this this holds my voltage at 14.4v easily full tilt, I need to go bigger I guess

Yeah, they are both overpriced. But, by all means keep buying it so they can justify the price.

Rockford Fosgate has always been my favorite and makes the best quality and best sound quality stuff on the market. I wish they weren't so expensive, or I would run all Rockford. I run Skar VXF 12s now. Rockford should do an SPL series and a SQ series that competes with Skar, Sundown, DD, etc. in price and power. But also have a SQ line that Competes with Jl Audio, etc.

Experimented with 2xP2s for my first build. Not fully satisfied with the air movement but sound quality is great and discrete. Gonna be switching to T1s for half the price of this sub. But if I ever find myself wanting two T1s I might as well get a single T2. This is one beefy subwoofer.

Looks like the perfect tool for rust removal.

That thing is a beast! Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

I want to cut a rectangular hole in the metal between my 2 rear speakers in my 1995 accord. I want to put two 5-7 inch (depending on what will fit) subs in that space, and I want to put a box with two 12-13 inch subs under them in the trunk. Can I build a box for the big subs, cut a hole in it and build a chimney box on the top of that hole? Or should the different boxes use separate interior airspace?

That's pretty cool. Personally I'm running the DD audio 612 series 12 inch sub in the long competition box. Peaks at 1800 watts for a single 12. Also running dd audio 6.5 inch door speakers and dd audio 6x9s with built in tweeters. With a pioneer radio. It's not the loudest set up,but it has hella good quality.

Hey Mark, I'm upgrading the sound system on my jeep wrangler 2 doors, like the one you installed this sub, but I'm debating myself on which one sub to use, I'm installing everything Rockford and my question in your opinion is which one would be better the T2 13inch or the T2 16inch? I don't have back seat so space is not a big deal, also would like to buy one of your blueprints for the one I choose, also it would be awesome if you have blueprint for the beauty panels, thanks!

Use to have the 12" P2's until they crack my front window and shook my entire truck where my crank shaft pully bolt backed out an clutch springs shattered... Could 👂 and feel me coming 😍

Nice. Glad to see you stepping up your bass a little bit. Your fabrication skills are undeniable. Curious if you're going to do a sealed or ported. I'm thinking sealed. I know Rockford suggests 4ft³ but I'm sure that sub can be used in 2.75-3ft³. probably around 40-45in² Port area.

esmokebaby i have skar and fosgate. I love skar for spl all day but if u get the t-1 and up fosgates there nice. Mids n highs are very nice from skar!

Serious question. I have a 4 door pick up. Why do so many videos/people recommend down firing subs? Wouldn't up firing sound better? And would forward firing single in the middle sound better still? What about thin units under the front seats?

I would ask which subwoofer you prefer but seeing that u have the T2-13 already so it goes without saying. So why the T213 over the 13W7AE? At the time of this video they seem to be about the same cost.

I think I've commented on every single one of your videos. My 02 Tahoe is giving me problems I disconnected the factory ampbut my aftermarket amps I put in there keep going into protection when the bass hits hard . I was watching another video that explains how the 02 Tahoe or the 5.7 vortec engine they put in them put out too much power one guy recommended unplugging a plug on the alternator that did work until I was going down the road and my Tahoe slowly died lol I watch the lights get dimmer and the windshield wipers gradually got slower and slower so I freaked out and pulled over and hooked that plug back up how can I get around not using a converter then things don't put out enough power to run two amps or even one of the amps I have ... Hopefully you will help me out or anybody for that matter that sees this

I would recommend 10 awg OFC wire for anything running over 300 watts, but if running anything lower I would use 14 awg OFC wire.

Skar audio, sundown, Rockford, don’t buy kicker products but I’ve heard some of there amps are good, psi, pioneer, etc. edit: I meant skar audio not soar. Gotta love auto correct!

@@stephancobb13 Im powering mine with a JL slash 1200v3. Only one coil is working and it takes that amp no problem. My guess is that that sub can take at least 1500 RMS all day. I have the old school silver version. The new update one is even better.
