Keep in mind that all of these jobs are independent contractor and you will have to pay self employment tax of 15%. so when you hear a per hour amount, automatically deduct roughly $2 from that.

You can deduct the expenses of doing that work to though which saves what you took away. XD I’m theory but idk what it would be, your electric bill maybe, internet payment, labtop wear and tear. I honestly don’t know what you could come up with but it’s possible.

correct also keep in mind, whatever a job would pay full-time then self-employment should pay 50% to 100% more. So if Minwage is $7, then the min these companies should pay is $12-$14 an hr. So we see right off the bat these companies are mainly just taking advantage of people.

Most of those sites are just collecting composite info about you in bite-sized chunks. Put together they can market that data to identity thieves, or do iffy things themselves with it. Like lost cell phones, the personal data is worth more than the phone itself.

​user-kpkxgtjy Yup. Best scammers ever. They pay you in pennies while they take your information about you and sell it for big bucks to big name corporations. If that doesn't make you sick, it should. Yet we allow it, even without knowing it.

Transcription is not just good typing skills. It's being able to focus and have excellent listening skills, deciphering speakers with accents. mumbling, stuttering, understanding sentence structure, punctuation. It's a very difficult and tedious work. You have no idea.

Did you use this resources before besides KZread?

You seem to be a straight up guy I’ve watched a lot I’m at retirement age and watched enough videos the past six months I’m completely confused I’m pretty good with the computer but not sure which way to go. I’ve been in construction and manufacturing all my life but I wanna mention Outsourcing to you I’ve made a ton of money doing that besides running my Painting business. Great! How many products do you think you have on Amazon that you made videos of at this point? I got denied. I am going to try again.....I have 1000 subs , but for some reason they still denied.

I have watched countless videos that says “You can work from anywhere/worldwide”. This is not true, it’s misleading. I have signed up to some of these websites, you gain coins for signing up and at least one survey but after that nothing happens. The website states that surveys are loaded daily but weeks pass and nothing happens. I have resorted to deleting these accounts because it is pointless.

Where I come from...If its too good to be true?...It ain't!

I still don't understand why the 1st one RESPONDENT asks you for your work email address when they know that MOST jobs do not allow you to do this, because I have been told that respondent DOES use this work email address for 3rd party reasons as well.....which is IMO, a big red flag.....They should instead replace this option with another more doable......I bet a lot more people like me have decided AGAINST providing it, hence we do not get the better jobs, but oh well.......I bet they would feel the same way if Other of their employees would provide their respondent email addresses........Good thing you mark it as #13 last on your list, it kinda would be on mine too......you fill out the needed screeners, but you are never considered.

Make 12 cents an hour. Yeah. You give out your work email like the first site wants and you'll have them peppering your work domain with nonsense. Most IT departments are assigned to watch for that kind of stuff coming into their system and can track it to the source employee wise.

How is it legal for these companies to pay less than a minimum wage? Maybe a great side hustle would be to bring class action suits against companies that are operating illegally?

Minimum wage is only for employees, not independent contractors. Otherwise a business could sue you if they don't earn enough. As someone who has been self-employed most of my life, I can assure you there are no guarantees.

I tried squad help. It's no good. All the work you do and submit might not get picked for the prize reward. There's a high probability of that actually because you have a lot of competition. So, all the time you invested into coming up with a good brand name and so on goes to waste.

The Appen example is interesting. I've seen how helping companies improve AI is quickly on the rise, with ChatGPT trending. But a lot of projects I've noticed are over 20 hours a week. Maybe using a different site this venture may be very promising. Great video Judd, really insightful throughout
