Calm is so beautiful almost majestic, then you have roar which just pumps you up for battle! This is by far one of the best soundtracks in gaming.

Phoenix Project There are way more calmer themes than this that are in smash

Oh I love this. Even though Fates is not really that old relatively speaking for some reason this tune is so nostalgic to me. Fantastic work with this mix - the transitions are very, very well done.

It's 8 years old... This is pure nostalgia overload. There is no other soundtrack for me that gives such a sense of longing, nostalgia and freedom. I played this game at an important time in my life, I guess.

relatively speaking? 🗿 its been 8 full years and a little, from the end of one console generation to the end of the other! relatively speaking there has been 3 full main line games since then (Echoes,Three houses,Engage). yes it is old but now it can also be called a classic!

The drumset goes so hard on Roar. It sounds so fun

The bass driving down into the mad drumbeat as the transition into Roar is legitimately so fun. I can't imagine how much fun it is to play.

The calm version of Road Taken is so relaxing

This song is so nostalgic for me

God, I love Fates so much. This game means so much to me, and this music is quintessential Fates to me.

No regrets making this my Castle theme on each Route. It immediately caught my ear, this is the good stuff from Fates.

Just as impactful as Awakening's Conquest. Fates was the last of the 3DS "trilogy" that I played, what an incredible finish.

I’m surprised to see that someone mixed the map themes, I always wanted to try it but... too lazy lol, but thank you for making time for doing this for the people

I think what’s truly amazing about Road Taken is that it manages to exude the feeling of nostalgia almost every time I listen to it after having been away from it for an allotted amount of time. Nostalgia, in essence, is a sensation. For me, it’s one that loses its raw emotional impact upon reliving the memory time and time again. So the fact that this *one* song draws me back to that period in my life when I played Fates in such an eloquent way, I don’t think anything else can evoke nostalgia more powerfully than it.

That transition was crazy! Best mix of this on KZread.

This game had the best music in my opinion

Got three words: GOD SHATTERING STAR.

Got to hear this one last time on a my castle battle just before the servers closed for the 3ds. Felt bittersweet. Who knew the closure on something could bring communities together like that?

Probably my favorite map/battle theme in all of FE. Truly a banger.

I can understand it getting flak from the whole cousin marriage thing, and having to buy all three paths separately to access the whole story. But it is definitely not a bad game. I put 548 hours in to it on my 3DS and recently I started a randomizer playthrough, and gods this music brings me back!

Not to be mean-spirited, but this game really isn't all that old. Relistening to soundtracks isn't really that special, some people still even listen to music from the 50's. : And yes, it is a damn good soundtrack. Much better than it has any right to be considering how mediocre the game is, but then that capsulates all of modern Gaming really. Music > the actual game.
