Kashmir is intergral part of Hindu spirituality culture, thousands of years and India. It worth it to visit Kashmir.

I visited valley last year (combined tour of Ladakh & Kashmir) and it was knockin on the heaven door 👌

I actually watch palki sharma report because her reports are very much well researched

I am one of them, I visited there last February. It is very safe and most people are welcoming, and it is really one of the most beautiful places I visited.

Tourism promotion not only in Kashmir but all across India is an untapped market. Government has done well, but needs to do more to utilize it fully!

Situation on the ground is the same. Many anti national jihadis are being appeased by Modi govt through Lt Governor. Muftis and Abdullas who destroyed Kashmir and are responsible for multiple scams like Roshni act haven't been touched. Jammu has been completely neglected by Modi govt and there is a lot of anger there against Modi govt. BJP will struggle to retain Jammu and Udhampur Lok Sabha seats next year.

Very happy to see this video and the increasing number of tourists . I visited this year in April for the first time. Very happy for the people of Kashmir.

North Eastern states are amazingly beautiful and unexplored. Indians must go there and help locals there.

I'm from Uttarakhand & Not only Kashmir, also Ladakh, Himanchal, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Entire north east & Himalayan belt is heaven which need more investments to project it's image in front of the world to attract more tourists You have limited exposure of Kashmir only

I hope the Kashmiris of India now realise that Article 370 was nothing but a barrier for their progress. More tourist footfall means more business for locals. Well that's also true, but garbage disposal system needs to be made better. Tourism is necessary for the economy of tourist spots. I mean atleast local people should get also money to survive.

Job creation, old era of house boats , vibrancy of the society with income generation another aspects.

Yet many foreigners who visit India are bohemian mavericks so they only visit Paharganj, Taj Mahal and Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi. Then they would prefer to take a khataara bus to Kathmandu and visit slums and guzri bazaars there.

I sincerely hope Kashmir prospers and completely rejects any attempts from Pak to stir trouble in the future.

Hmmm. We don't have numbers for 2022 yet, so assuming we get them in 2024, then we should get 2023 numbers by 2025. For sure we will know by then if records were broken. 2020 was the start of corona, so 18 million is pretty good, and 2022 should have been better at approximately 18.8million, and 2023 should be better as corona is finished for the full year. Not sure if G20 made a difference as it will take a couple of years to be sure. Good for the people of j&k who have suffered a lot these past 10 years

Assuming a tourist spends average Rs. 5000 in Kashmir, the business works out to 2x5000, i.e. Rupees 10,000 crores. That is a big boost to the employment in Kashmir.

There are just so many vlogs by locals themselves. Go watch with your own eyes but I think people are divided and have different opinions regarding independence or India as much as I observed.

Any excess is bad. Previously it was difficult but too many tourists create other problems unless there are facilities. Surely there are not. Manage tourism. Just because many are dependent on it does not make it attractive and safe. Natural beauty of Kashmir must not be spoiled by excess tourism.
