13 HOURS LAYOVER IN SINGAPORE | WHAT TO DO?
My flight to Manila from Bangkok had a long layover in Singapore, and I loved that idea. It's been a while since I've visited Singapore, so I might as well check out the Little Red Dot. I finally visited Jewel Changi for the first time and was in awe. Also checked in at one of Singapore's greenest hotels (PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering), and it was amazing. Also went out to Haji Lane for dinner.

➡️ TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS TO SINGAPORE:
From 1 April 2022, there will be specific entry requirements in place based on whether you are fully vaccinated or non-fully vaccinated.
💉 For fully vaccinated visitors
We welcome all fully vaccinated visitors to Singapore. No entry approvals, pre-departure tests, on-arrival tests, and quarantine are required.
*Fully vaccinated and non-fully vaccinated children aged 12 and below by year of birth will be allowed to enter Singapore
🦠 Your pre-departure checklist:
💉Obtain proof of vaccination and upload the vaccination certificate onto the Vaccination Check Portal
💉Secure tickets for any flight to Singapore
💉Download the TraceTogether app and register your profile
💉3 days before departure: Submit SG Arrival Card and e-health declaration via the official and free e-service on the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website

3:33 if you arrive on aug 9-10 SG natl day. Mrt ride are free! And if you have a long layover and had enough sleep onboard, you dont need a hotel (budget travelers do this) coz in changi airport you can sleep anywhere! They have lounges and sleeping area for free

@dancershortie9493 Yes! Make sure your passport has no torn or damage edges. They’re very particular of damage passports which I understand. Frequent traveler specifically the men, they tend to bend or put it in their back jeans pockets! When you disembark, just fill up the arrival card and make an arrangement for your luggage either put it in left luggage or check in early ỉn designated airline counter. They have free singapore tour booth at the airport. You can inquire for schedule. Do come back after 14hrs to the airport to roam around all 3 terminal and the budget terminal too where free shuttle bus every 15mins. Terminal 1-3 are connected via sky train! There’s so much more to see and its all FREE!! Goodluck!
I have now understood that Philippine passport holder only require an SG arrival card to exit the airport during a layover, thanks for your responses on the comment section 😅 But may i ask if there are any more requirements upon re entering the airport to take on the 2nd flight? Thank you!

@@jennyle9435 depends on your layover hours? If any of your time is during the day, you can probably grab a cab and go out to the city like in the video, but you might cut it close for getting back to the airport and checking in if you don't leave enough time.

Hmmm, upon check-in from your first departure airport, you can tell the ground staff if you want your luggage to be checked-in all the way through the final destination, or you may opt to get it upon arrival at Singapore. But you need to check-in your bag again after your long layover :)
