As a zag fan, I believe GU should not even be ranked and hasn’t looked good enough in a sustained manner yet to deserve a ranking higher than 20…maybe. No disrespect to SDSU…they’ve been underrated and are a threat to go deep in the tournament again.

Don't worry they soon won't be ranked. They are an overrated team and should lose a few more before the year ends. They play in a ShXty conference and all they do is beat up on bad teams and make their resume look good!

Actually, they are usually ranked because they’ve beaten good teams in pre-conference play but their best wins are against USC and UCLA who are mediocre at best. And probably more accurate to say that their resume is built on tournament wins. Safe to say they have more than your favorite team in the past ten years.

Relax! This SDSU team will only get better. you can see it and you can feel it. I know Butler has been performing marginally, and many believe he will stay this way, but I believe he will break out of it during the MWC play. Probably against New Mexico like he did last year.

NM student here. I was there in the student section and that buzzer beater three is forever baked into my memory.

Nice road win boys. Still got a lot of work to do. The Mountain West is gonna be treachetous this year. While i feel SDSU is the best team we still need to find a consistent 3rd scorer. Ledee and Waters have been great and its nice to see DT have a good game. Been waiting all season for Butler to come around, but at this point Im sad to say this just might be what hes gonna give us.

....what ya meant getting better? This is NCAA tournament champion calibers...anything short of the net cutting on final game will be unacceptable since the Aztecs were finalists in April. This Montezuma kids mean Monsters in Basketball...these Aztecs athletes well-disciplined ' skilled and lenky...under master Brian. with strict diet regime and thousands of hours of relentless physical strengthening...they dont come out swinging without a cause...

@mrh1000- Dutch and even Steve Fisher has tried to schedule consistent 1vs1 home/away games against UCLA, USC, Arizona. They no longer want to play us non conference. With the Pac12 imploding, we will see how it is going forward

This was expected.. Bad starting line-up choice. I really do hope Zags make the NCAA tournament in March....

In the offseason it was rumored that Graham Ike was interested in SDSU. If he would have transferred to SDSU, SDSU would be the best team in the nation.

This was the worst “highlight reel” I’ve ever seen. It’s cut to look like the Zags won because the only sdsu shots shown are misses.

Oh good. Another Gonzaga feeding frenzy. We bash them and now we see...errr sea... the weakened #24th ranked team on the weekend, according to some poll, floating around.... I almost lost my train of thought there. Glad that I stayed in schools....oh no. My chums are stopping bile...
