Love the mirror. You could also stick lace on the frame then paint it gold it gives a pretty pattern without carving or wood pieces that might be too cumbersome. Thanks xxx

aww! thank you! I go so often, there's actually SO many times I walk away without anything 😂 It can get frustrating so I try to write a list of all the pieces I'm looking for and run through the store quick each week!

So glad you went with your instincts and changed up the applique to the top of your mirror. The paint finish was very nice and your bargain mirror looks like a very classic, traditional, higher-end piece. Very well done.

Awesome dupe love it love the candle holders for 25 cents I went thrifting Saturday wow the prices in California so high even in the thrift stores and the shelfs empty !!! I am fifty fifty a Lowes gal and Home Depot I worked at both each for eleven years and like both for separate things LOL

If you wet the white paper with water before you paint...the paper won't move. Very good for protecting your mirror.

I much prefer the finished look as far as trim pieces but I wonder how a little white wax or dark wax might help the details stand out more and give you the look you wanted.

I used to be team lowes because it seemed cleaner and better organized, but I realized that I was paying way too much. So now I start at Home Depot

@@OurLittleNest I was just going to said you get a 10% discount and also when thing are no longer coming back you can get things for very cheap like my husband came home with tool box and he only paid 10.00 dollars for it and we got free back yard table and chairs for our porch plus we only paid 100.00 dollars for our Refrigerator there is lots of good stuff from Lowe's if you work there 😀
