I love that I can come to your channel and hear about books I don't hear about anywhere else. I've added many to my tbr list. Now if I can find the time to read them.

Thank you very much for the recommendations! I've picked up two. Recently I've read "Good morning, midnight" by Lily Brooks Dalton and I loved it. I think you will love it too. Somehow I feel this is just the book for you at this moment. It is about grief, regret, hope, travel, the wonder of human striving to know. Beautiful language where every word is at the right place and at the right time.

Just was looking up Morality Play this week for a Reddit Question about books set in Medieval times and thinking how good it was and how no one speaks of Barry Unsworth’s books anymore, and here you are putting it out there into the universe too. I really wanted to reread it in relation to Station Eleven and the idea of the traveling theater troupe and their ability to bring complicated truths to the surface.

Sadly, I feel like Station Eleven took up this space for people (“travelling troupe bringing truths to the surface”) and that will make it even less likely for people to discover Morality Play or give it a chance. Hopefully I’m wrong!

Just added "The Wind that Lays Waste" to my ever-growing TBR list. Latest additions to my ever-growing currently-reading list are "Death and the Penguin" by Andrey Kurkov and "The Orphanage" by Serhiy Zhadan.

These all sound great! I had the Murikami/Ozawa book checked out from the library but the return date snuck up on me before I read it........that's pretty much how I roll. Def need to put it back on my holds list.

Thanks for watching! I rarely give books ratings. I tend to focus more on how it made me feel or what I took from it, and less on ranking it against other books.
