She would still worship a being who came from the sky. Therefore a sky squid as mentioned in my first comment.

My favourite Oxventure moment was Egbert talking to the sun-cow god and everyone talking about how he has gone crazy and needs to be killed. "What a great honour it is to see a Dragonborn die!" - Dob

Did you see Prudence checking how much Merilwen was enjoying watching Vex suffer in Peak Performance? It's not the horror. It's the love of horror.

Personally I enjoyed Egbert's proclamation "its behind his face!" better than "what's chess?" Egbert's entire story that oxventure is incredible though.

There's definitely some irony in the fact that "It's behind his face" is a complete misunderstanding of the way the game is played, but is in a literal way the answer to the previous riddle, and their dilemma lol

The gun turret bit from Corazon and the entire Dob being impaled and seeing Egbert's bovine god were worth being here too imo lol

one of the times I had to stop the media player due to my own laughter was "Wait a minute, I DO WANT A CAT!!" - "Oh no! The Consequences! They're here!"

Straight up cried when Dob said, "Like me, but better." The phrase, "I'm just determining tactical weaknesses. Yeah, I found one." The Coraswans. Oh goodness, the Coraswans. "You should be ashamed of yourselves. Grow up! Said the man running a game of Dungeons and Dragons." Johnny just kills me. Thanks for another great year guys! Keep em coming!

I forgot about the look sheer glee on Jane's face during the orphan mortar reveal. That just makes the scene so much better

I've always loved Prudence telling Corazón that the spider chest is full of treasure. Also just any time Corazón gets out of his chair is brilliant

My favorite DnD moment of 2019 was during Bad Chair Day when Chairizon was thrown off a ship

Johnny's involuntary repulsion at the mention of the awesome squeezy powers of the the Octo-Wen gives me life and joy.

I have so much to be thankful to this show for: this was the show that introduced me to D&D, its the show that made me want to be a DM and a couple of years on I'm several months into running a campaign with one of the best sets of friends i've ever made, all because of a stupid spicy flavoured rat-boy and some cursed pirates

If you listen carefully, I'll pray sure someone in the audience yells out "Impossible" but that could just be me hearing things

I love the way Mike says "Mortar" because I just get the feeling he already knows where the whole thing is headed, before he even finishes his sentence.

My all time favorite Oxventure moment has to be lawyer Corazon. Johnny shouting "What's a lab?!" had me in stitches.

Oxventure Guild: making role play cool, one room of gamers at a time! (Seriously though love it please don't stop!)

Between the orphan murdering skeletons and the LADS, last year's Oxventures were great. Can't wait for more!

Two missing: - "I'M COVERED IN SPIDERS!!! AAAAGGGHHH!!!!" "Womp, womp." - "Atonement begins with an apology" "...OH!" - Part of Corazón's blissful ignorance, when he puts on slippers which are actually two dead cats.

"I don't know what the kids are into these days..." I do. And I had the identical look that Merilwen had when it clicked. God Johnny is so good at world-building, and just literally everyone else in the world.

I missed the part where Egbert throws his bombs in the ocean and all the whales explode.

“The boat. The ship. I’m a captain, I know the terms.” Funny thing - in the maritime industry, we tend to refer to them as boats regardless of size. Or “vessels”, if we want to be formal. So Corazon is in the clear!

I will never forget merilwens face when Johnny said "it's orphans boss." A look of complete terror

I would never have considered DnD a spectator sort of thing but i've really enjoyed this series far more than I thought I would. Props to you all!

I had forgotten that Johnny foretold of an upcoming battle against the Coraswans! Can Corazon really fight something with his own face? I know the others won't have an issue with it, not according to my favourite moment of the year... Johnny (to Prudence): You read the runes on the chest, it says "Danger; spiders, do not open" Corazon: What does it say? Prudence: Contents: treasure, please open!

Corazon smoking the cigar and EVERYONE at the same time giggling.....and I have to be honest the first time I saw this, THAT very thought went through my head. 😂😂😂

38:15 - and Merilwen begins waiting for the party to stop discussing possible solutions, because she has the ultimate one. Ellen is SO patient there.

You know the D&D videos are amazing when the highlight reel is nearly an hour long

I always imagine Prudence's Spider Climb to be just like The Fear from MGS3, terrifyingly dislocating all her limb joints with wet cracking noises and then moving with an inhuman scuttling. It's horrifying yet compelling to imagine.

Didn't notice the first time around, but when Andy was "rowing over in the skiff, which is a boat" do we think he's intentionally rotating the oars the wrong way? Full commitment to the bit?

I just love how this video ALSO highlights how many times Johnny takes a deep drink of whatever he has.

I'd like to think that, similarly to Elli from The Last of Us, Dob developed some kind of mutation from the rabies that rendered him immune to its fatal effects and he can just go on living like any one else.

You know what I realized, I absolutely love how Luke straight up announces his dice rolls, with particular vigor when he rolls a one.

"the venga ship is coming, and everybody's lurching, across the sea we will go, to find where our god did go,, the sails are out unfurling, over the side we're hurling, seeing hunger of hadar, hot salsa's coming later" *instrumentals*

Johnny is the most precious person ever. I want him in my life.

Really wanted the mini adventure of Chairazon and Catilwin from "Bad Chair Day" on this list. I love the fact that infiltraiting an outbound ship was not only pointless, but also the fact that a pirate dressed as a chair caused the ship to crash after being thrown overboard.

I hope we get to see a return from our dear friend Christopher Engelbert XVII

The look of anticipation and glee when Jane realises what happened to the orphans is somehow disturbing and heart warming in equal measure

Thank you everyone! Y'all made me laugh when I didn't want to.

My favorite is in Peak Performance when Dob rolled a critical one and Johnny said that Egbert fell into the spike trap.

Make a skeleton's best moments compilation

"What's chess?" Even with hours of practice, I don't think that line could have been delivered or timed any better than Mike did it. Fully deserved the round of applause for that one. In a video full of absolute bangers, that's definitely one of my favourites.

I could watch Corazon fail Wisdom Checks for hours. He's just hamming it up and it is *glorious*.

Hey guys, I know you get a lot of comments, and I'm not sure how many you actually get a chance to see, but I'm not sure where would be appropriate to message you. I adore your DnD stuff and it's what got me introduced to you all and your respective channels. I have noticed though, that the subtitles on these videos are auto-generated. I don't pretend to know the first thing about adding subs to videos but do realise that adding your own probably takes a lot of time. So, I was wondering, if someone were to write these out for you, would that be something you could use to add them easily?

Actually, adding captions to YT videos is really easy, there's a bunch of videos (on youtube) about it - I can most suggest Jessica Kellgren-Fozard's 4 part series about it. I would love to see some captions on here, I have a hard time understanding sometimes when they start voice acting, or "whispering" (Then there's the Quiet Riot part when they're all whispering and I can't hear a damn word of it. Basically ruins the entire episode!)

Even if it's simple, they are busy people, so I can completely understand why they don't add them. Which is why I'd be more than happy to help by writing stuff out for them. I'm going to be watching their stuff anyways, it's not going to hurt to have a word document open so I can type it out as I hear it :P

AHAHAHA I forgot about the disrobe!! Brilliant moment.

To anyone who's as addicted to these as I am, watch at the very least the first segment 6 times and watch the faces of each individual oxventurer (yes, I'm including our tireless DM) as they react to what unfolds. There's some truly marvelous stuff in there. Andy being just so upset at Luke setting up a corporate infrastructure, Jane being just so happy about all the blood, Mike not really knowing what's going on... Love these guys and their characters to death! What a great year!

One of my favourites is when they find a tresure box and (in infernal) it reads something like "do not open, trap inside", and Prudence - to Corazón - says "open me, treasure inside"! 😋

Last December and January I binge watched your D&D videos and they got me into D&D. That January I joined a campaign and since have become a DM of my own party too. Thanks for getting me into it, and here's to more radical Oxventures in the future!

Dob finding his sister was the plot line I forgot even existed and then immediately cried over when it happened

Ah, finally got to watch this. So many amazing moments! Thanks for getting me into D&D. I'm now in a group with fellow OX/EG fans and we're having a blast every week! Heck, this Saturday my character the tiefling sorcerer dressed up in a knockoff Prudence costume, rolled a crit 20 on a persuasion check, and convinced a guy to join the (definitely not!) cult of Cthulhu. Had a nice little ritual in the woods and everything. We needed the guy to translate something, so our Aarakocra (birdlike person) friend carried our wildshaped-into-a-raccoon druid to me with the message that needed to be translated. He dropped the druid in front of us then landed in a tree and lit a torch, as if Cthulhu himself had sent the message. I'd like to think Prudence would be proud.
