    With the sawing using bailing twine you have to be very careful because the friction causes heat and can start a fire.

    its cause when you were sawing you kept moving to different parts of the twin and you pulled up the entire time. You need a tighter twisted twin and thread it under once and start sawing quickly and stay in one spot also pull up gradually not all at once.

    The twine hack does work (I do it at my barn all the time) you just have to use a relatively new twine (yours looked a little frayed already) and you have to keep it really steady. If you move it around too much it won't rub away in one area it'll just fray all over the place and not break. It also helps to go REALLY fast. Hope that helps for the future :)

    Oil is like a super charge energy feed if your horse gets hot when eating oats don’t feed it oil as it’s like oats but on steroids much much worse there s a reason they give oil to race horse you can make some good mane and tail detangler using coconut oil as a base

    The problem you had with the twine (we use that hack at my barn) is that you kept moving it to different spots and make sure to use the whole length so it doesn't burn and snap.

  • @ElliotteBuracas

    The reason the twine is breaking is because she was using a small part of the twine. You have to make long strokes so that the friction is concentrated on a small area only on the piece of twine you want to break. Hope that made sense

  • @c.a.zequestrian8770
    @c.a.zequestrian87705 жыл бұрын

    You can also use regular sunscreen on the grey horses nose. It is also very important to use sunscreen on white horses nose and around their eyes because they get sun cancer. Keep this in mind!!

  • @tatumshepherd5361
    @tatumshepherd53616 жыл бұрын

    The saw doesn’t work for you because it was winter and the thing that causes the right twine to break is friction. The friction causes the twine to heat up and make it weak so it breaks

    With the bailing twine in your hands you want to take long pulls(or strides I guess, I don’t know what to call them.) because then your string on the bail will be the one to break!

    The only reason why the twine sawing thing didn't work is you need to put tension on the twine going around the bale. I just use my knee or foot and it works like a charm! :)

  • @KatieeGloria
    @KatieeGloria8 жыл бұрын

    I love this but... #11 does work because I never use anything but twine lol... but the trick is to use the whole piece of twine that your not wanting to break otherwise it will heat up too much and snap like it did in the video :)
