Our national histories in africa are political history .They are mostly about our involvement with the colonial west and there after our so called liberation. In most cases even our post colonial history is written by white professors who always down play the evils of colonization. We dont hear a thing about Africa before slavery, colonization neocolonization imperialism, Apartheid and oppression of black Africans .This gives an impression that we were non existent, as we appear to be nothing without the western colonization. Thanks for this history l give a black child a9 African base on which she / he can start on

Very interesting video thank you. I would like to add according to thec Kemetic History of Afrika, Dr cheikh Anah Diop writes, “The ancient name of Africa was Alkebulan. Alkebu-lan “mother of mankind” or “garden of Eden”.” Alkebulan is the oldest and the only word of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians. Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today, was given to this continent by the ancient Greeks and Romans.” I have read that the name Africa became widely used in the 17th century by Europeans and referred to the Northern part. I would be very interested to know more. The continent holds so many fascinating cultures their history suppressed by colonisers. Watching in Ireland ❤

Berlin conference 1884 partitioned Africa into territories that today ignite conflicts like how you find a tribe like the Maasai divided in the middle some in Kenya and their relatives in Tanzania. The boundaries are artificial.

@@ZZMJo I disagree. These look less sophisticated, but newer or better preserved (why the finish looks cleaner). That's why I figured they were from some other area where they didn't have the same techniques. Benin bronzes are more "3D" and stylized. I was hoping the uploader would clarify because regardless of who made them, I'd like to know. They are all great works.

Well the most part the story is not arranged as it's supposed, that's the truth part, the rest are all lies. As I said, check your fact before you present things like this online, mind you lots or Africans don't know they're background as such they believe anything they hear, so please again check your fact and make sure you're feeding as with nothing but the best thank you.

Ethiopia and Egypt are not the same people as those taken and made slaves. They have Caucasian features and very civilized. Why are you trying to confuse the young generation? Tell them about the Zulus and how they originated and their way of life today. Stop making the African children victims of the world. You are not doing good. You are destroying their minds.
