Activate port security on the ports. • - Configure the ports to accept a maximum of 2 MAC addresses. • - If a violation occurs, configure the port to drop frames from the unauthorized MAC address, log it, and send an alert. • - MAC addresses should be present in the MAC address table for a maximum of 10 minutes before they are removed. • - On S2, configure the MAC address of PC2 as a static address on port FastEthernet0/11. • - Ports should add the learned MAC addresses to the running configuration. • b. Configure STP in Rapid PVST mode. Mitigate STP attacks by configuring BPDUguard and PortFast on the active ports of S2. • Step 4: Secure unused switch ports on S2 • - Move all unused switch ports to VLAN 888. • - Configure all unused switch ports as static access ports. • - Deactivate all unused switch ports. • • Part 4: EtherChannel and Trunking Configuration • Step 1: Configure EtherChannels • Create EtherChannels on S2 according to the EtherChannel Port Assignments Table. Use the Cisco PAGP protocol. Both sides of the channel should be set to ‘desirable’ mode. • Step 2: Configure Trunking on the EtherChannels • - Configure the port channel interfaces as static trunks with native VLAN • - Disable DTP negotiation on all trunks • • Part 5: Configure Inter-VLAN Routing • Step 1: Configure inter-VLAN routing on the Layer 3 switch • - Configure Inter-VLAN routing on the S3 Layer 3 switch for all active VLANs in the VLAN Table that are configured on S3. • - Configure the switchport on S3 that is connected to R1 with an IP address as shown in the Addressing Table • • Part 6: Configure Addressing and DHCP • You will configure DHCP on S3. • Step 1: Configure a IPv4 DHCP pool on S3 for VLAN 10, 20, 30, networks. • a. Exclude the Switch S3 interface addresses. • b. Configure a IPv4 DHCP pool that will be used by hosts that are connecting to the VLANs. • - Name the pool and configure the pool to use the addresses as in the below table Pool Name Network Address VLAN10 192.168.10.0/24 VLAN20 192.168.20.0/24 VLAN30 192.168.30.0/24 • - The pool should also provide the default gateway address. • Step 2: Configure an interface as an IPv4 DHCP client. • Configure the PC1 and PC2 to receive its address over DHCP. • Step 3. Configure R1 router as Stateless DHCP server • - Enable IPv6 routing • - Create an IPv6 DHCP pool on R1 named R1-STATELESS. As a part of that pool, assign the DNS server address as 1::1 and the domain name as module2.com. • - Bind the DHCPv6 pool to Interface G0/0 of R1 to provide the OTHER config flag to the R1 G0/0 network only. Refer to the addressing table for the addresses. • - Enable ipv6 autoconfiguration on PC3 to receive the IPv6 prefix. • • Part 7: Configure Static Routes • In this part of the assessment you will configure static, default, floating static in both IPv4. • Step 1: Configure static default routes on R1. • - Configure Next-hop IPv4 default static routes to reach netacad.com network. • Step 2: Configure static routes on R2 (inside cluster) • - Configure directly connected IPv4 static routes to reach all VLAN’s and G0/1 network of S3. • [Add ipv6 ospf 1 area 0 to G0/0, S0/0/0 of R1] • • Part 8: Configure the Wireless Settings • In this activity, you will only configure the wireless settings for 2.4 GHz • Step 1: Configure the WR SSID and Wireless Security. • - Change Network Name (SSID) to Guest for only 2.4 GHz • - Set WPA2 Personal for the Security Mode. • - For the Encryption field, keep the default AES setting. • - In the Passphrase field, enter Cisco123 as the passphrase • Step 2: Connect the Wireless Clients. • Connect the Laptop to the Wireless Network Guest • • Part 9: Verify Connectivity • - Verify connectivity between the PCs, Laptop and netacad.com server. • - Verify that a host can connect to the SVI of switch S3 over SSH.
