It is too bad family or friends could not have stepped in and had the dog groomed for the family without judgement. Kind and compassionate groom. Thank you.

My dog, Squirt, came to a rescue group already shaved with a 10 blade all over. Videos like this give me an idea of what she probably looked like before shaving. B, you are so wonderfully gentle, especially with senior dogs. I can't believe Sandy stood so well for this grooming. I bet Sandy slept well after this grooming. No more pulling hair, no more fleas. Fabulous job!

I am a new subscriber to the channel. I am not a groomer and had never had experience with caring for a dog until my son left his Pitbull with me for 15 months when the Army sent him overseas. It was quite a learning and awaking experience, to say the least. I am considering getting a dog when I retire though. I have watched many of your videos and I will say that you frequently have to defend your work due to those who feel the need to express a negative opinion (often unwarranted). What I can say as a viewer, is that I love your hustle, sincere concern for each dog's well-being, ability to stay focused, and sense of humor. You treated this dog with such compassion and dignity. 🐶You are more than just a professional groomer, you are a beautiful soul and each dog who you touch knows that. So, take the comments both good and bad. Choose to focus on those that are constructive and promote professional growth for you. You are amazing! 💯☺

I cry for the doggy but maybe the owners dont see his condition but love him very much. ❤. I know how hard it is to give a dog up for adoption. We had a toy poodle for years , had a baby from 3 weeks when my hubby came home with a rescue dog, a german sheppert from 8 (about)weeks. Evry thing worked well we learned her to Pee and poo outside. She had 1 problem. When we got visiters she pee on the floor. Ignor her , let her outside said the vet. Nothing worked. When she was 11 months old my kid clawled in her pee , it was discusting. The the dog had to go😢. She went to a horsestable and had a better life as we cant give her

I definitely think they love her but don’t fully understand the extent of what is going on with her. I’m glad they took her to the vet. Giving up a pet is hard and so many people make it seem like it’s like trading in pants at the store

Oh Sandi has the sweetest face ever. I did like the very fluffy ears before you trimmed them.... She looked just like a puppy at that point. She has had a bad time of life recently, sore skin from matted fur, then the skin irritation from fleas. I love the part where she gives you attitude... Ms Sassy Sandi was not for letting you win the battle of the Chin! I hope you see her back often. I hope the people who are her 'parents' know she has multiple health issues, and de flea where ever she lives sleeps etc. Thank you for returning the hairy hound into the gorgeous golden oldie who still has her puppy good looks . She will feel so much better but I bet she will take a little while getting back her normal walking strutt now she doesn't have talons to contend with.

Thank you so much for giving her so much love, extra time, understanding by giving her a break. Made mee just cry for her, as i just lost my almost 16yr old chihuahua, she was my heart. She was cremated, no way was she going in the ground. I do understand how hard it is to love a furbaby for so many years and have the vet tell me my dear sweet Hershey had kidney failure, he gave her 3mos, offered CMB to keep her comfortable, my girl lasted 9mos. It was so hard watching her crossed the rainbow bridge. I hope this sweet girl lives a peaceful elder years.

Hurts me worse because my in-laws did the exact same thing to their dog and I was the dog's only recourse. I kept her bathed and clean as much as I could but there's only so much you can do. 💔 *Also, just a reminder the ADA requires Service dogs to be kept clean and healthy. Dogs in bad condition are not adhering to Service Dog law*

ONLY A VET CAN TELL IF DOG HAS DEMENTIA N AN MRI READING WOULD TELL

  • @GotAnUmbrella

    @GotAnUmbrella

    2 ай бұрын

@@kaycrockett542 needing an MRI is completely false. My vet has given out hundreds, maybe thousands of diagnoses without use of MRI. My vets own neurologist gave the diagnosis because I diagnosed it myself using the dog Dementia criteria chart. My dog got an MRI to rule out a brain tumor. An MRI is unnecessary and out of reach for most people. Most dogs are diagnosed symptomatically.

If you can't afford it, these videos truly help you to cut your babies at home so this doesn't happen! Incredible transformation on this sweet old dog. I was just wondering if she sleeps inside, then her bedding and carpet around her must also be infested with bugs. Won’t the bugs just restart biting her if the owners don’t mitigate the issues at home? Might be worthwhile mentioning so Sandy can live out her days comfortably.

thank you for helping this baby and for being so understanding. they love their dog very much. you can see its not starving. if it was starving then i might be judgmental. .. i am elderly. . my cat will only eat fancy feast. i would rather her eat something better but she refuses to so that is the first thing people judge me on. then 2nd thing they judge me on is how small my cat his.. she is very skinny but i give her 8 cans a day half at a time. sometimes she eats all 8 cans and sometimes just bits and pieces of each can. so they judge me on that. there are people who want me to give her away because she has health issues and my vet bills are pretty large... there are people who want me to put her outside to die a natural death as they call it. she is totally indoors.. i dont understand people.. i never had children and people that have children get really angry when i say my cat is my baby.. she is my daughter. so i do not judge people for anything. .. my health is not the best but no one would have the patience to feed molly the way i do and no one would make sure all of her health issues are taken care of. .. i spend about 280.00 per month on food and litter ... not everyone will do that. add vet bills in and i eat bologna .. who will do that???

I can understand the matted fur but I can’t understand the fleas. You can buy flea collars or flea. and tick medicine to apply that can get at a dollar store. To put it politely fleas can hide in a dog’s ear and other orifices.

How do you care for your hands and feet that are so overworked? Also, your eyes are constantly in use, examining the dog during the entire groom continually.

That poor little dog was really very abandoned. With the tangle of untrimmed hair and her little legs with the most dangerous nails. And my God, fleas, lots of fleas. Poor thing, what a mess. The owners may not have the money to take the dog to the groomer, but heck, don't have a poodle. You were very careful all the time, she was very scared.

Nice to see the first person angle. Jw, if you're there alone, like towards the end, is there a reason for the overlay music? It really takes away from the video

@@TheLuvOfDogs prefer the sound of the clippers over the music. I'm sure I'm not the only one who really does not like the music. It's honestly what's keeping me from subscribing and watching more vids. If I wanted to listen to music, I wouldn't be watching dog grooming videos. Just saying.

@@TheLuvOfDogs I came back to see if anything has changed, and it hasn't. Which is disappointing. You said last time you had the music bc others were in the shop and music copyright. If you're there alone, those two reasons are not relevant. So what's the excuse then? There is none. Watch other successful dog grooming videos. Tell me, do they have music playing in the background? The answer is 100% of the times, NO! If I wanted to listen to elevator music I would search for that, not dog grooming. People watch dog grooming vids bc it falls under the category of ASMR! The music 100% defeats the purpose of it being ASMR 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's so shocking that you don't see that.

She is such a sweety. For a poodle though she looks like she has a rather short tail. Maybe it just looks that way because of the high skin too that folds over the tail from her bottom. She does look like she eats well... Looks a little chunky. Beautiful girl though.

@@TheLuvOfDogs wow really? I've never seen that. I've only seen the longer tails with the puff ball at the end lol. My grandma used to have a little white toy poodle.... There's a current neighbor with a black standard... Also long tail with puff ball end lol. To be fair the only other poodles I've seen have been mixes... Like my Lhasa-poo. And she's got the curled tail and longer less curly poodle hair so I've never thought to do anything but keep her tail as was when born. Spiraled Long and Flowy. ... It's fun to play with straighten her tail and watch it boing back. Let's just say I'm 18 with 22 years of experience enjoying the simple amusement. Works for my dog too... She likes to play peekaboo, the way a human toddler enjoys playing hide n seek with their parents who obviously know where they are already. And now I'm rambling... Lol

Well, it’s not actually being pulled. Just held. When they try and yank their face away they’re pulling at it but I’m not actually pulling. It’s just a way to keep the face still and safely clipper and use shears so the dogs don’t get seriously injured

Scissors are dangerous when a dog moves the way she does. She moves that way because she doesn’t want me to hold her mouth. Had I used scissors and she jerked, I could have cut her really bad. I would never use scissors on a dogs mouth who is unpredictable like that. It’s about safety not speed
